This is my favorite shoulder bag I've ever had. It's not absolutely perfect, but I'm giving it 5 stars because it's the closest thing to perfection I've found in years of searching. The best aspect of it is the elegant conversion between shoulder bag and small backpack. No extra straps hanging around, no buckling or clipping, just a fraction of a second to one or the other. I wanted a small backpack because of some shoulder issues, but also want to be able to have easy one-handed access to things in a shoulder bag with a reasonable drop length. This excels at that. I've searched all over for other bags with a similar strap setup, but this is the only one--at least at this smaller size--that I've found. Other aspects that are good: It's classy looking. The leather and overall construction are high quality. (I am getting a tiny bit of wear at the bottom corners, but that's natural and I will use leather care products to limit that issue.) There are a lot of pockets for organization. It opens wide and fits quite a lot of stuff, although I had to call on some Tetris-like skills to fit everything I wanted because of the compromise with smaller overall size. What's not perfect? Well, I probably would have bought a different color of leather and hardware if that had been an option. I also bought some purse charms to make it a bit less plain. More frustratingly, the front magnetic pocket is really tight, to the point that it's hard to get my relatively small cellphone in and out of it even when that's the only thing in there. A bit more give in the leather there would have been nice. But all in all, a very well-designed and well-made bag that I expect to use for a long time. ... show more

I already have a convertible handbag to backpack that was nice and the right size but unfortunately, I should have gone with black rather than the stone gray which I regret. And I never loved that it didn't convert nicely into a handbag but always looked like a backpack pretending to be a handbag. In the market for a new one, I came upon this, read the reviews, bought it and, if first impressions are any indication, I am in love. It is perfect - the color, the quality, the design - converting fluidly and easily back and forth into a handbag to a backpack to a handbag and looks classy and smart AS A HANDBAG. I love handsfree, but sometimes, you need a cute handbag, and this is it my friends. It has a secure zippered pocket for the side resting on your back and a snap pocket in the front. It zippers open on three sides revealing very roomy open pockets, two zippered pockets and two open pockets. It is fantastic in both design and function especially if you just want to carry the basics and not the inside of your office drawers. Bravo Banuce! I have used a similar convertible handbag for years, and I would not travel without one. This is the first I've tried of this brand, and I think it is well-made. The straps are wide enough to be comfortable when wearing as a backpack. It converts very easily. The light interior color makes it easy to find things. I appreciate the zipper compartment that sits against my back when using it as a backpack ... this has more security than the ones that have the zip on the outside. I also like the interior zipper compartment on the side: perfect for passport! I'm not sure I like having the zip pouch in the center of the main compartment. While it gives another place to secure items, it divides the main compartment and limits what I can carry or access easily. ... show more

I really like this purse. It fits comfortably on my back and was easy to travel with. The way the straps cross on the top when carrying make it a little more secure than other purses that don't do that. You do have to take a second to loosen them before opening but I don't mind. The straps are also adjustable. I really like the color and the purse fit nicely under the seat when flying. The leather isn't soft but it's not hard either. I would recommend! ... show more

I love this purse SO MUCH. It is he perfect size, if you’re good at Tetris, you can fit a water bottle and a small jacket into it. I use this purse when I travel, because the backpack feature is so convenient when you’re walking around a lot. It is very well constructed and I have had multiple compliments on the simple design. I love the zipper compartments inside, I keep my wallet and passport in an inner zipper so that they won’t get lost if I’m digging around for chapstick. Even though my purse shipped from overseas, it came incredibly fast. This is by far my favorite purse, abs I would highly recommend it. The only downside to the purse is that when it is in backpack mode, the straps cross cross over the zipper, so if you’re planning to use the purse everyday as a backpack, you might be happier with a purse that is permanently a backpack.
