If you are on the fence whether to order this dress just do it! I am a true medium 5’3” tall 143 lbs and it fits perfectly. I ordered the dark blue floral and it has a beachy vibe to me. The dress is lightweight, soft and not see thru. Material is white on the inside and printed on the outside but you don’t see the white. Hides my belly well! Stitching is good, no complaints. I’m going to try to make this review helpful for others as I always love to read reviews before purchasing, so here goes. When trying to decide on what size for myself I was depending upon what others said but while women might give their height I wasn’t seeing a combination of weight and height, which makes a huge difference. So with that said, I am 5’3 and 177 #. I ordered this dress in 2 sizes for comparison sake. While I could have gotten away with the large, it was just a little too snug in the chest and hip/butt area. The extra large fit just right and was very comfortable. The fabric is nice and stretchy where you need it as you move and is not revealing at all. I bought this dress in 2 prints and really like them both. They are not fancy at all but can be dressed up with accessories or just casual. I highly recommend this dress and I will be back for more of other styles. Hope this is helpful. I have purchased several of these dresses and love every one of them. They are very soft and comfortable, as well as being lightweight and breezy - great for Summer! NO see thru which is fabulous! They can be dressed up or worn casual, so great versatility! I found them to run true to size. The pockets are wonderful, and I like the slits on the sides. One other plus, for me personally, I like the width of the straps and the armholes - they fit well and you can easily wear your bra with it and not worry about straps showing. This dress is super soft and comfy! I love that it has pockets too. It’s a relaxed fit so it doesn’t cling to your body. I like that it’s not fitted but still shows your shape and doesn’t look frumpy. I hope it washes well. I’m planning to buy more colors. I did order the stripe one and it fit differently and the fabric felt different so I returned it. I will likely order more solid colors and hopefully the fit is consistent with this one. Update: I originally gave this dress 5 stars and it’s so soft and comfy! I noticed that the more I washed it, the more it’s starting to have an unpleasant chemical smell. I soaked it in vinegar for 3 days and then washed it with baking soda but the smell is still there. I think it’s the smell of the synthetic fibers since it’s made of polyester. I’ve had similar experience with polyester clothing that started to smell when put in the dryer because of the heat, but I would hand wash this and air dry it. ... show more

Unfortunately I had to return the gray dress and the blue one with flowers. Really love otherwise! Has 'full' sleeveless (not halter or thin straps) so my bra doesn't show, nice scoop/crew neck adds a touch of classic styling. Side splits are great! I tie one side with a knot, really pretty! Still plenty long down to lower calf, above my ankle (I'm about 5'6”). The gray one was the wrong color see reference photos. Sent me a light gray dress (not flattering) supposed to be dark gray as their photo depicts (see comparison pic next to t-shirt). The blue floral fit much more snug then the green Palm leaves/white - it just fits, but I like my clothes less fitted, so I reordered in larger size & fit great! Knocked off one star for these reasons. Material on floral prints is fairly thin, silky soft, slightly transparent in lighter color; tag says 65% polyester 20% viscose 15% spandex. The solid Gray tide said 95% rayon 5% spandex. Not quite as soft, but very comfortable, and slightly thicker fabric so nothing shows underneath. For reference I have a long torso, most of my weight is in my upper body. I wear an XL to XXL in tops (depending on cut and fit; have broad shoulders) size 38-40 F/G, have a 'mommy'/surgery tummy, hips 47". In the photos I took of me in the two dresses, I do have smoothing slip shorts on, there's not much compression, though and I don't think you can see it through dress (bra and shorts are black). All in all, I love this dress! I wish the sizes, material & colors were a bit more consistent & they offered a few prints in the same material as the solid dresses. Size up if you like a looser fit, otherwise I believe it's true to size! ... show more
