The media could not be loaded. Light is very bright; hang it high. Have to remove the plastic over the eye for the modes to work. Duh, me! LOL. It works amazingly well though, very happy with the purchase. Don't know about longevity yet, but will update as I find out. Going to get several more of them for the rest of the house. Price is perfect! Hope they don't raise it now. ROFL Update: After one night of use, the item stopped working for some reason. The solar panel was in the window all day long. I might have gotten a bad one. I was going to order 3 more until it wouldn't turn on again. :( I guess it's back to the drawing board for me to find one magical solar light that isn't going to break the bank, but will also work longer than this one did. Use it outside on our lanai. Enough light to play cards. A bit of a learning curve is required. One weird thing, we had a rolling blackout last night and this solar light would not turn on!! Go figure. Found the reset button and it is back to ‘great’

This Yomisga Solar Powered Shed Light is surprisingly bright. I was very pleased with that especially since it was smaller than I had expected. I thought it wasn't working right at first because it turned off when I walked away but then realized it was on motion sensor and it quickly turned on when I came towards it. It can be lit for a long time and still have power. When my lights went out I used it in my kitchen while I cooked and did the dishes. It is brighter than my kitchen light. Then I put it outside to use when I brought my dog out, so I used it most of the night. Attaching it to the wall was a bit difficult. It is awkward to attach the solar panel bracket and the screws are very small. I dropped and lost two so I had to use others I had, but I got it up and it's charging very well. The remote however only works when I'm very close almost under the light, so I think the remote sensor is on the underneath. It is about 7 feet from my door so I have to walk along the porch in the dark and reach up to use the remote to turn it on. A switch on the light would have worked the same, in fact even with a remote I like having a switch in case the batteries die and I don't have replacements readily available. ... show more

Ok, reviews were decent so I had high expectations. I bought the product for lighting in an outdoor building without power. Online description seemed to fit the bill of what I needed. I installed the product and gave it a full day to charge per the instructions. I tried a few of the settings, but after a few days was not able to get the motion detection to ever work. For reference, I mounted the lights at about 10’ so waiving my hand just a few feet below the light wasn’t close enough to ever get either of the lights to turn on. Unfortunately, the remote didn’t work consistently enough to overlook the motion detection issues. Using the remote I was only ever to get one light to turn on at a time. Different day, different light would work. Never the same one. It typically took several button pushes on the remote to get a light to turn. I tried walking around from just a few feet away and pointing the remote directly at the lights from different angles. I will say that when a light would turn on it was bright. One light lit up my very dark building enough to see well. If both would have worked as advertised, this would have been a 5 star review without a doubt. I contacted customer service hoping for some tech support to get this to work—and hoping I didn’t have to get the ladder out to take it all back down. I asked if this was a defective unit or if a replacement would do the same thing. I was told to expect more of the same for this product. The product is going back. Do not recommend. ... show more

We hung this as a pendant light over our sink in our cabin. We run on generator so this light is great at night when the generator is off. Lights up our whole kitchen area. The motion detection is great when I get up in the middle of the night. We will be purchasing another one for the bathromm!

This LED light works exactly as advertised. Although I do not use the solar panel that comes with the unit, (my gazebo came with 2 solar panels) I can't comment on how well the included solar panel keeps the batteries charged, however, the solar panels included with my gazebo works great. I use the setting dusk to dawn and it is actually dark by the time it comes on. The auto dim light makes it look like the moon is shinning down on the table and chairs. The slightest movement causes the light to come on bright but only stays on for about 20 seconds if no further movement is detected. Very satisfied with the product after about a month of use.
