I bought this phone cover for my son. He has an SE phone. This cover was a bear for him to get on at first as it was so snug. After many tries, he did get his phone enclosed in it. That is why I only gave 4 stars instead of 5.

I prefer small, cheap cases over expensive bulky ones. This case hardly makes the phone bigger at all, but I've never had any protection problems. It is difficult to get on / get on just right, but that's probably a good thing. It also comes with a glass screen protector. I just bought my second SE2020 to use as an iPod. I have had this case for almost two years, so I bought a second. The only difference I notice, which I immediately remembered from back then, is that the new case is pretty slippery. I used the same case on my old SE before this one, and loved it so it made sense to buy this new version when I upgraded. All around fantastic case—super slim, provides full coverage, great color, great feel, and still looks great after having it for a while. It’s a little snug and difficult to get on and off the first few times, but that also means it stays on well. Using the given glass screen protector works best if you apply it when the case is on so it lines up, but there’s still a thin hairline around the edge that gradually accumulates dust and grime, but that’s a fairly minor problem, that I suspect might be fixed by using a thin screen protector that covers the whole screen (and would sit under the front plate of this case). Update Oct 2021: 10 months later the thin edges of the front plate snapped while trying to remove the case to replace the screen protector. It’s not a terrible lifetime given it’s price point, but not great either, especially since it probably would not have snapped if it wasn’t so tight and difficult to get on and off. There’s also been moderate discoloration of the larger back piece (graying and darkening notably more than the front plate) and a little bit of peeling/wear of the top coating at the back edges, but not bad enough I ever felt it was worth replacing or swapping. ... show more

Overall, a REALLY good phone case for the Iphone SE 2020, especially because of the screen protector part. It’s slim and the cut outs are perfectly aligned. It is a bit “slippery” so if you have a habit of dropping your phone, you may want to look at another case or invest in a pop socket/ring add on. The screen protector is a sticky piece of glass and it fits perfectly. Because the case itself extends over the top sides of the phone (for protection), there are no gaps where screen is unprotected. I hated that about normal cases + separate screen protectors. Screen protector was tricky for me to put on because I didn’t understand the guide stickers/was too lazy to look how to do it. There were cleaning wipes and a cloth though, so I definitely recommend using them. My first attempt left a lot of bubbles, and some white sticky stuff ended up on the edges of the glass. Second time around, I was sure to wipe around the edges of the glass and then put it on. Still had bubbles, but I pushed most out and then the rest magically disappeared overnight. TLDR - slim and sturdy but a bit slippery to hold - perfect cut outs, easy to press buttons - screen protector is a sticky glass that covers entire screen (no awkward unprotected edges because the case extends over the top sides) - take your time putting the screen protector on ... show more

I love this phone case. I will admit it was a tiny bit complicated to get on, but once I got the knack, it was okay. I am a true butter-fingers and drop my phone constantly. I dropped my phone so many times at Weight Watchers the other night that the instructor said, “If you bend over to pick up that phone one more time we’re going to count it as exercise.” And I don’t have a scratch, a crack or a ding on my phone…because this case is that awesome! The only minor drawback is that after a year of tough use, the outer thin film of shiny pink is starting to peel and reveal the matte deeper pink underneath. Not an issue for me. It was super easy to get glass protector on I appreciate that the sides don't really fit after being put together. I did it three times stil bulges on sides a bit. It will protect phone but if your anal about a perfect fit I wouldn't get this one.
