Works perfect in our outdoor playhouse. Installed this last weekend and worked like a charm. You can feel the fan and the light is bright. Doesn’t really make any noise so far. Great fan but needs direct sun to charge, doesn’t do well in shady areas at all

I was surprised by how powerful the fan was. It was perfect for tent camping, the fan kept us cool all night and into the late morning allowing us to sleep in despite it being 77 outside. The first day it was great and stayed on all night, and morning it’s quiet but not too quiet and does provide some white noise but wasn’t so loud as to be disturbing. The second and 3rd night it was shady and didn’t charge past 25% both days so the fan didn’t work. There iz 1 downside and 1 improvement it needs for it it to be perfect which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 1) it really needs that 6-8 hours of direct sunlight, we camped in a shady area and day 2 and 3 we could only use the light as the fan killed the battery and wouldn’t last more then 5mins. It never got past a 25% due to the shade. So not a flaw because the instructions and the description clearly state that, but be aware! I considered taking it to the pool and letting it sit to catch a charge in direct sunlight. 2) the improvement it needs would be add in USB- charging. You can charge it up on cloudy days when you have electricity plug ins like our campsite had or use it as an about battery if needed cuz the battery is so big. ... show more

Decent Fan, But Airflow Is Weak I bought this solar fan to provide some extra ventilation for my chicken coop. The coop already has ventilation, but I wanted a little additional airflow. The fan is nice and seems to be made fairly well, but unfortunately the airflow is weaker than I expected. It does move some air, but not enough to make a noticeable difference in my coop. The product feels okay for the price—not cheap, but also not especially high-end. Overall, it works, but I was hoping for more power. For my needs, I wouldn’t purchase it again. ... show more

Right now I’ll give it 5 stars. Easy set up, totally didn’t realize it was also a light, which is pretty bright I might add! Easy to use, the solar panels are inside the greenhouse between the frame and clear roofing, still getting plenty of sun, directions are also easy to understand. I hooked it up and it’s already on after just a few minutes charging. It’s small but mighty! I can already feel the difference in my greenhouse! Using it to help regulate temp and airflow. Weak fan

The light is cool but the fan is super weak bought for the dog kennel and doesn’t give a good breeze not sure what the other reviews were saying maybe in a chicken coop but not a dog kennel

Good solar light/fan combo

Easy to install, you just plug the three components together and viola! It works. I hung the light/fan combo from the ceiling in my chicken shed on a cloudy day and it immediately started working on the battery alone, right out of the box. The light is fairly bright for the space I have, the fan seems to be blowing air around well for the mid 80’s heat we are having. I will update as summer goes on.
