Only problem was after 4 months it stopped working and I thought to myself...what a hassle this will be to get resolved. Actually it turned out painless, customer service was quick to respond to my email and within a week, a new fan motor arrived. Unfortunately the problem was not the motor. i ordered two fans for guest bedrooms in December 2023 and when installed they worked fine. Many months later, when guests were arriving, I discovered one didn't work at all. My handyman moved the sensor from the working fan to the bad one and it worked so I contacted the company - not expecting much. They responded immediately, sending me a new sensor and a new remote (just in case). They also told me, if that wasn't successful, get in touch and they'd help me work it out. Had this fan put up for six weeks it was fine. Then nothing but a humming noise and later that day light went out too. Just past 30 day return. Tried all the trouble shooting to no avail. Support website cannot be reached, third party seller piece of crap. It burned out. No warranty. Don't waste your $ or your time. There are better brands at same price locally. ... show more

We wanted a ceiling fan above our bed, - a king size bed placed on a platform with a box springs as well so it's very high - but had just standard ceiling height so a regularly hung ceiling fan would come down way too low and likely be more an obstruction or accident waiting to happen than a benefit. So me being me I started to research the issue and found most fans here have exact measurements for how far down they come and I started looking at each and every fan on Amazon. Out of all the vast number of options available, only a few made the first cut and only two met every criteria I had, including this fan that I finally got ordered in black. Also ordered a 16" ceiling medallion and used Rustoleum's Gunmetal Grey spray paint to paint it before attaching it to the ceiling and installing the fan. The Sofucor 42" low profile fan not only was the best in terms of how far down it hung, it looked like a fan that would cost way more than it did and was perhaps the easiest install I've ever done for a ceiling fan. We love having the remote and being able to change the temperature of the light (from a more subdued almost yellowish soft light to brilliant white bright illumination) depending on our needs at the moment. The fan is unobtrusive in our space, and it is quiet enough to be almost imperceptible. But the amount of air it is capable of moving in our bedroom is perfect for us to get a great night sleep or be cool and comfortable even in humid south Mississippi. Very pleased with this purchase and would easily buy from Sofucor again. ... show more

I bought 3 of these ceiling fans. They were easy to assemble & hang. The remote control works well to control the fan speed & light. I have test run them non-stop for several days at a time with no problems. This fan does a great job of moving air and looks attractive in an office & a couple of bedrooms even though our home has high ceilings. I would recommend this product. Ceiling fan was assembled and installed as instructed. Purchased late February 2024. Now it's July 2024 amd it stopped working. When attempting to turn on, the motor just hums and don't turn. I've had it for 5 months and it doesn't work anymore. Bad product.
