I researched all kinds of different fans and decided upon this beautiful fan. Having three 60" fan blades vs. all the other fans I've previously had that have had five smaller blades is an advantage. Much easier to clean and the wooden blades are light but sturdy. The fan blades were what initially caught my eye as I thought they were really cool looking, and they do look really nice in person. The fan is powered by a very quiet DC motor (can't even hear any motor noise) and it pushes out quite a bit of air. I was pretty picky on wanting a fan that also provided a good amount of light and this fan gets pretty bright, but you can easily dim it via the remote control. The fan spins with no vibration or wobble, as it's very well balanced. Some previous reviewers have said this fan was easy to install and some others have said it was harder to install. After getting confused reading the written manual, I reviewed the online installation video and that made it much easier to understand how to install the fan. Just Google it and you should find the video. Watch the video first! I've installed a few fans in my lifetime and this fan took me longer to install than some others, but it was worth the effort. Some previous reviewers have also complained about needing to use the remote as the primary way to operate the fan. This isn't an issue for me. The remote has a remote receiver that relies upon the remote to operate the fan. Just leave the wall switch turned on and then use the remote to turn the fan on / off and to adjust the fan speed and light brightness. My wall switch had a black wire (hot), white wire (neutral) and a red wire. However, the remote receiver I needed to wire to only had a black and white wire. There are different electrical configurations, so this part was a bit confusing. I finally figured out that I just needed to cap off the red wire (not needed) and only connected the black and white wires. At first, the fan worked but the light did not, the remote control would not operate the light. I contacted customer service and as other reviewers have mentioned, they are pretty responsive to technical issues and questions. They sent me out a replacement remote and receiver pretty quickly (arrived in 2-3 days), but it was the wrong remote receiver, so they sent me out the correct receiver and that fixed the problem. It was worth the wait since this is a cool fan.

The Sofucor ceiling fan is a GREAT product at a great price. We wanted something nice that would match with all the bedrooms in our new home. I also wanted a fan that was easy to install. It came with an easy to follow Youtube video that was really well done. The motor is quiet and its easy to operate with a variety of lighting shade options. You can find a more expensive ceiling fan on the market but if you want something stylish, effective and one that won't break the bank, the Sofucor fans are your best bet. We bought a total of six (6)!!

This fan is a perfect fit for a large room with either a rustic or industrial design. I've tried many fans for my large living room, and with other fans I can never feel the breeze unless I'm almost directly under the fan. This fan solved my problem. I can feel the breeze far from the fan, and I don't even need to use the higher speeds. Another wonderful feature is how quiet the fan is. Normally when I mention that a fan is quiet, I'm referring only to mechanical noise. Somehow this fan moves the air quietly too. As a result your ears would swear that there is no fan running in the room too. To control this wonderfully quiet air mover you have multiple options. Sofucor provides a simple, sturdy, responsive, and compact remote. For those who hate remotes, you can also control the fan with the "smart life" app through your phone/tablet. This is a wonderful feature since you know you will always have your phone on you especially when you are already on the couch and you don't want to get up to get the remote. The sleep function on the fan is also awesome, but all of the possible sleep/timer options are only available on the app. A side note for people installing it themselves, the wiring is so easy and you will quickly realize how everything is made of high quality materials. I love how almost all the wires are connected by two plug in connectors. All you need are three wire nuts (which are included with the fan). I've installed some big box store fans before and had to use around 7-9 wire nuts which are not easy to stuff into an electrical box. Beyond the electrical, everything feels very durable from the wood blades (most big box store fans tend to not have wood blades) to the heavy duty components (good quality metal, higher than normal quality screws, actual wood blades). One tip for people who haven't installed many fans, snake the antenna for the receiver down the center hole (right outside the down rod - see picture). This will guarantee amazing reception for the remote/receiver regardless of which direction you are standing in relation to the fan. In short, if you want a beautiful/silent fan for a large room, you will love this fan! Stop thinking about it and just buy it. You will thank me.

I would give this product 4.5 stars if the system allowed that. Overall, I'm very happy with this ceiling fan. Its style is what I was looking for, a sleek, modern, clean look. The various adjustments for speed, reversible, light intensity and color, are very nice. And this fan runs very quiet and smooth. The only drawback is the plastic dome for the light. While glass is heavier, the plastic is the one part that makes the fan seem a little 'cheap'. All in all, I recommend this product. Also, my experience with the seller is positive. One of the fan blades had a small but noticeable gouge in it. With photos sent, the seller sent replacement blades promptly.

We bought 5 of these fans for our new house when it was still under construction. Worried that if one was defective, we wouldn’t be able to return, but couldn’t pass up the sale price. Have bought this brand before, and the fans are super quiet, have an easily used remote, and move serious air. Plus the lights can be adjusted, and there’s a timer for the fans. Moved into the new house in May. Four fans went up with no problems, but when it got to #5, it didn’t work. Thought we’d be out of luck, but to our great surprise, the company responded to us! They sent a replacement motor, but lo and behold, it didn’t work either. We were frustrated at the setback, but once again, they came through! The fan works perfectly now, and all the others are fully functioning also. Not only are these really good fans, have REAL wood blades, and move the air, but customer service went above and beyond. Would give them 10 stars if possible!

I ordered 3 of these 52 inch fans and am very happy with them. I have 2 without light and one with light. They are so strong I have never had to use them above speed 1 - 3. I have them on constantly, 24/7, and that is the true test for me. It has been over 1 year now and I hope they last decades like old ones did. I just wanted the look of these fans. I searched literally for years to find this more contemporary looking wood and black combo. They are classy and you cannot beat the price and the great customer service from Sofucor. I have already shared with my fan installer to recommend for his clients.
