This fan is great! Everything was packaged well and instructions were simple but affective. It took me around 30 minutes to install. After installation, it has worked very well. The remote works great. Specifically, you can choose three different colors of light and dim to your desired brightness. Use the on-line assembly video. It will help you. Assembly is not complicated but takes time. Follow insttructions. Suggest you assemble fan blades and light before hanging the fan. The fan is very quiet and the cool light selection is quite bright. Very attractive. I like the prewired harness rather than multiple wire nuts. Just connect the hot, common and ground and the harness and you are done. I wish the lharness lead to the fan was a bit longer since connecting the light takes considerable manual dexterity. I have not used it extensively so I don't know of it's longevity, hopefully many years. ... show more

Where to begin? I purchased this from Amazon and it was delivered as expected to my residence. The packaging is very good. Nothing even had a scratch. The installation was as easy as you could expect from any ceiling fan, so I can't comment on it being 'easier' or 'more difficult' to install. Once installed, I flicked the switch, and the light came on after a second or two! Perfect. So then I tried out the fan function. Not so perfect... The fan would start to go one way, turn the other, jerk, slightly move, etcetera... Something was up. Took out my multimeter and hmmm, 120v as expected. I emailed the company. Within three days I had a new motor, no questions asked. After installing that new motor, everything worked as expected. It was amazing to me that they simply sent a new one, no questions asked. I didn't have to go through any hardships and they even followed up to make sure it worked! The customer service is like dealing with a local mom-and-pops store. I hope it stays that way. The fan itself works great, it's beautiful, and fits our needs perfectly. I can accept a manufacturing defect when the company fully backs me when I tell them about it. 100% how customer service should be. Thank you!! ... show more

This is a good looking fan, and I like the 3-blade design. However, there are two big faults with it that I consider serious enough that I'm considering throwing it out. The first is a full 2-second delay from the time you flip the light switch before the light comes on. It doesn't sound like much, but you have to stop and wait before you can proceed into the dark room. Second, I've found it impossible to balance the blade, so that it wobbles violently at anything but the lowest speed settings. I assume that it's because of the heavy wood blade design. I really liked the look of the ceiling fan and it was very lightweight. Unfortunately, the light does not provide the amount of light that I was hoping for, even set at the brightest setting. The plastic light cover blocks way too much of of the light causing me to return the ceiling fan unfortunately. If you don't need a ton of light, this fan is a good option. ... show more
