Very useful Item! Easily fits into any existing standard lightbulb socket, with an extender for extra clearance. Pairing was simple, just hold any button on the remote, and then turn on power to the socket. The fan is very generous in the 3 speeds of wind it blows, and the LED Lighting is adjustable from low to high brightness AND from warm incandescent to cool blue L.E.D. This is also a very portable fan, in that you can move it quickly to any area that may need cooling. I have one minor problem with the remote, and so only four stars: the battery compartment cover is very thin, hence open to twisting / warping. On the unit I received the two tiny prongs at the edge of the cover WOULD drop into their respective slots, but would not stay, resulting in the cover detaching. I fixed it with a short length of clear tape; but should not have needed to. Perhaps the manufacturer could extend those two prongs by a millimeter, or stiffen the back lid.

Impressive! Took 5 min to put together and install it. The room it's used in is 12x20 and this little fan makes a draft. It did wobble a bit on fan speed #3, It's working fine on the #1 setting for us.

This was extremely simple to assemble and screw into the light socket in my utility room. When I first installed it, it would sometimes work and shut off by itself. I was just looking for some air circulation in a 6’ x 6’ room between the kitchen and the back door. Somehow taking it down, removing the AAA batteries (not included) then putting it back into the socket has gotten it to work as I had envisioned. The fan stays on and the light can be turned on and off via remote. For now, it is working well and providing light and air circulation. It is an improvement after a frustrating beginning. Update - After over a week of use (I turn it off overnight), this fan has performed as intended (light, fan, remote) and I have increased from 2 stars to 4. After a dubious start, this has performed very well.

I am a fan connoisseur – a collector of fine fans. And this is my new favorite fan! What a genius idea to turn a light socket into a fan. These came to my attention at just the right time, because I was looking into buying an expensive set of track light fans. Now I don't need to. For $29.99, this fan is priced just right. Some of my favorite features of the fan are: 1) Assembly and installation: after affixing the fan blades (which was super easy), installation was as simple as screwing in a light bulb. 2) How quiet it is: it's so quiet that sometimes I forget it's even turned on. 3) Breeze: the powerful airflow can be felt at least 9 feet away, but it's a gentle, circulating breeze, not the kind of loud hurricane many fans this size produce. 4) The extension rod: it allows for me to plug it into the deep cavity of my existing track light fixture. 5) The light: the LED light can be adjusted for brightness and temperature. 6) The memory function: whatever was the last setting I had it will remember when I flip the wall light switch on next time. 7) The remote control: I love that I can turn the fan and/or light on, make all of the light adjustments, set a timer, and even program a memory button (although I haven't figured that part out yet) all from the remote. Now for what I don't like about it: 1) One way blades: the blade direction cannot be reversed like most ceiling fans can. 2) Low hanging: this is my fault, really, because by installing into my track light it puts the blades within reach of a good stretch of the arms. Since it's so whisper quiet, I'm just waiting for the day when someone whacks a knuckle on it. But that's not a deal breaker, just something to be cautious of. I've been using this fan nonstop for a week, and it's working so well. Overall, I highly recommend this fan! The media could not be loaded. First of all this fan is very handy, and I never knew such a thing existed! I have a lot of recessed lighting, and this comes with an extension rod for that exact purpose. I ended up using it without the extension rod in my master closet that gets very stuffy. The blades of the fan were pretty easy to attach to the base, and then you just screw it into any E26 socket! This has a remote, but batteries are not included (it uses 2 AAA batteries). I have yet to be successful with pairing the remote with the fan :( I have tried different light sockets, two sets of batteries, and trying to pair at different distances. Hoping I can contact the seller for advice. The light is way brighter than expected, but I don't know about the dimming capabilities yet since I have been unable to pair the remote. You can still access three options using your light switch, so I am able to use the light only, fan only on medium speed, and the fan/light on medium speed. The airflow of the fan on medium speed when using the light switch as the control is impressive. I had pretty low expectations if I'm being honest, but this little fan moves some air! It's perfect for a closet or laundry room (definitely not for a large room, although it would still be useful as a light I don't think the airflow would feel as impressive in a larger space). It's not too noisy at all when the fan is running, and minimal shaking.
