The media could not be loaded. This is the fan I didn’t know I needed. I ordered it for an area in the basement where I work out because I wanted something to move the air around better than a fan on the floor. I gave this a shot, and it’s better than I expected. First, this ships in a very compact package. You’ll receive it and wonder what you ordered because you’ll think, “there’s no way there’s a ceiling fan in there.” But, there is a ceiling fan in there! 2nd, you’ll have the blades snapped in place, with no tools required, within about 1 minute. I first tried the fan out in my kitchen (video attached) since it was easy to remove a recessed bulb and screw it in there. The fan comes with an extension just for this purpose and it works great! The fan and light options are easily operated with the included remote. You even get a remote holder that you can stick or screw onto the wall. The fan has three speeds and the light has three settings from which you can adjust brightness up and down. All functions work flawlessly. I then moved the fan into my basement (photo attached) and screwed it into the lightbulb socket right above the weight bench. When I tell you that the airflow is strong, even with a small “wing span,” it is strong. I mean, much breezier (even on low) than I would have expected. For my purposes, this fan/light combo exceeded my expectations. Low price, quality, ease of use, no electrician required, and functions well. If you have a space with a ceiling light socket and you’re thinking about adding a nice light/fan feature, I’d recommend giving this one a shot. I think you’ll be happy with it. ... show more

This compact ceiling fan definitely packs a major punch! You would never guess that this socket fan would provide the breeze that it does. It has multiple Illumination levels and multiple speeds. It’s lightweight, extremely quiet and fits into almost any socket and it also comes with an extension arm, if necessary. It’s controlled remotely and has the attachment to be placed on the wall or a nearby surface either taped or screwed in place so you’ll never lose the remote. DEFINITELY a must have for smaller spaces!! I absolutely recommend this fan to everyone. Oh, and did I mention the assembly time is about 1 minute!! Absolutely get you one!!! ... show more

The fan was easy to assemble and fairly easy to install. (Installation requires a tall ladder if you have tall, 12-14 foot ceilings like mine). At first, I was feeling almost no breeze, even after using the one included socket extension; the fan was just too close to the ceiling to pick up any air. So I ordered two more extensions for the two fans I had purchased. Afterwards, with TWO extensions installed, the fans worked great and provided a surprising amount of air--although don't expect to be able to feel it all the way across the room. Directly underneath the fan, and for about 4-6 feet on either side, is where you'll feel the breeze. Otherwise, the fans are just too small to cool any area larger than that. Also, with two extensions, expect a little "wobble" in the fan. To fix that, I used the square styrofoam packing insert from the box. It already had the appropriate-size hole in it, so I just trimmed off the corners of the square piece of styrofoam, causing it to become round, where it slid easily up into the can light fixture and stopped the wobble. (Be careful not to cut too much off the styrofoam. You want the fit to be tight so there is no movement of the fan. Because these small fans produce very little heat, there is no danger of fire, so feel confident you can stop your fan from "jiggling" this way.) All-in-all, I'd say this was a great purchase and a fairly cheap way to get a little extra breeze into a small area without having to wire for a fullsize ceiling fan. ... show more

I have nothing negative to say about this. It works so much better than I had hoped. Not only are there three different colors of light, it is also dimmable. There are three fans speeds, and it does not wobble or make any noise. It was a breeze to install. I highly recommend it!
