  • Don't do it! It will rust from the inside out
I tried so hard to make things work. but after one return and waiting forever from missing the second package I finally added it to the Jeep. Looks great but after just a few weeks it's rusted on the inside. Is figured it would happen so I tried to apply silicone glue to avoid that and it still managed to find its way in. So as you see the rust water runs all the way to the rear end. (where I had to remove my bumper for assembly). BTW I'm SO glad I didn't drill into the side panel because it either that or removing stock bumper. And I was very vigilant with the silicone but there's way to many openings and not even enough plugs for the empty holes. I had to cover those with tape and silicone because I was getting ready for a hiking trip and I don't want rain pouring into my untreated steel. Another factor could be some of the welds. They look great BUT they didn't fully complete some of the welds around the pipes. Leaving an opening for water... I'm so tired of dealing with these I don't even want to take them off and have to try and ship huge ass boxes back AGAIN. Months later they say they won't refund because it's been past 30 days ( even though I've been waiting for a response from the manufacturer ) I should've just sent it back instead of counting on the manufacturer to get back to me about rubber plugs. ( Here's pictures of both sides ) ... show more

  • Great for the price.
Install wasn’t the easiest but it’s held up great over these past 6 months. Hasn’t rusted it all like I’ve seen on other reviews but I live in the desert of Colorado so that’s probably why. Great deal for the price point.

  • Its goooood.
I didn't have a lot of trouble installing this. Only issue was, in the instructions it had you assemble the entire rear portion of the rack and put it on together (3 separate parts total), when it was much easier to do it piece by pice. Other people had trouble getting everything to fit, I just left all the bolts loose and it came together easily. It had a few plugs for some of the holes in the bars to prevent air whistling. I don't hear anything from mine. Ive used it for kayaks so far, and its great. Its really nice to have bars to hold on to while climbing around my jeep, and definitely beats putting things on the hard top. My only real complaint is that with an aftermarket bumper, the frame bolts were hard to install while holding the bumper still AND the rack at the same time. ... show more

  • Low quality
Took less than a month to start rattling, lots of issues on the install, overall low quality, if I could do it over I would have bought a more expensive rack

  • Take your time
It arrived fairly quickly. Whole week before delivery day. Only reason I gave it 3 stars is because the instructions and even the video is somewhat useless. One other thing it doesn't tell you is that the bars on top are either left or right even though the look the same. After I tighten all the bolts, as I was installing the cross bars I somehow had them wrong and didn't align. Had to re- loosen every bolt and hammer the bars out just to switch them. They should mark the bars. Other than that the setup looks nice ... show more

  • Sturdy and attractive roof rack
So far so good. Took about 2 hours with a friend to put this all together. I put it on a 2015 Jeep Wrangler 4-door. Had to drill into the body in the rear which I was t crazy about, but it went well and definitely holds strong. I put the overlander tent on it and drive three hours and slept in it and the rack held sturdy. A very good purchase. ... show more

  • Rusts easy
After reading the reviews I thought I could handle the rust if I sealed it well first thing... all the joints and bolts have been sealed yet I’m still getting some rust leakage at the rear base mount ... dissatisfied but it’s still doing the job

  • Perfect addition and as advertised !
Well machined and all parts lined up well. Assembly was simple and installation was smooth, a two person job if you are attaching to the body of the Jeep but not required if you install and assemble as you go, don't try this with a fully assembled unit. A value compared to the price on other sires.
