I like the product and it works great just breaks in same place both times after about 1 year so it is out of warranty by that time. I bought my first one November 2020 and it worked for less than a year so they sent me a new one which is now broken in the same place again. I just had normal use it just doesn't last more than a year. If they fixed this one thing, I would give it a Five Star rating cuz I really enjoy using it for my 2 person household, but don't want to buy a new one each year. ... show more

It supports making ice without a water hookup which is great. I poured in a few liters of water and waited for it to make ice. Turns out you're supposed to click On/Off to get it to start so I sat there while it silently did nothing for 10 some minutes. After clicking On/Off it kicked right off and I watched every second as it made ice. 11 minutes later, I had ice. n ice. One thing to note is to wipe it first. I noticed some dust in the various compartments so I wiped them down with a damp cloth. The manual also says to do just that, and to toss out the first batch of ice. A little dust won't stop me. The machine makes a decent amount of noise but nothing intolerable. It sounds like a small fridge when its operating and it's dead silent when idling. The loudest part is when the first batch of ice lands into the bucket at max speed. ... show more
