I have used this almost everyday without any lasting problems. During the 1st week the unit shutdown twice in the same session. I called the company and they said they would take care of it and asked if I could record it, so they could spot the problem. I recorded several sessions and stopped because it has never occurred since that one time. The unit has preformed great since then, thus far. The company sounded like they would back this and that it was covered for 3 years from the date of purchase. The units corner geometry works well for us in our basement, with other exercise equipment Pic #1. Pictures 2 and 3 show that the internal lighting works good, as these were taken around 2pm. There is enough room for 2 but its a little cramped with me and my wife using it together, which we do use most of the time. The lounge chair is comfortable and when one person uses it, it is very nice because you can lay-down, sit on the chair, move over to the table to sit etc to get better fuller coverage. Assembly was straight forward with (ok) directions. 2 people should be utilized with the assembly. The last panel was tricky at first but with a flat lifting pry-bar, I was able to step on it while aligning the pins to attach to the door panel. One other nice feature is that the speakers sound better than I was expecting. Health benefits are very real for me, with my back and joints giving me problems for years that I handled using a massage chair and gluecosomine to mitigate pain before, that was at least on a daily basis. This has easily cut in half the amount of time in managing the pain and worth it just for this aspect. I have been feeling generally better as well. I also take milk thistle supplement when I get in to see if the sweating of toxins through my liver is being helpful with my fatty liver condition. I am looking forward to my next lab panel to compare and see? My wife started adding teatree essential oils in a cup and I think this may also be a positive health benefit over time? I would give this a 5 star but since there is no 3rd party verification that shows the wave lengths are really full spectrum, along with the low EMF claims. Otherwise me my wife and the rest of my family are glad that we got it and dont regret it at all.

This sauna was very easy to install! We watched the video, then it took 3-4 hours to put it together. We have used it 2 times so far and love it! It is everything you see in the description and the video! The shipping company is very questionable!

Instructions were terrible. steps left out. If you're not mechanically inclined, then you'll have a rough time assembling the heater. I am on my third heating and the smell from the heater is still strong. Takes over and hour to heat to 74 degrees C. Would like to use it at 80 C but would probably take 20 more minutes. Also does not read in Fahrenheit. Timer only goes to 30 minutes then you have to start it again. I like the looks of it but there are so many Quirks.

I have owned this sauna for over a year now, and it has far exceeded my expectations. I did extensive research before choosing this sauna, and I am very happy I went with the Smartmak. I use it daily, and it works just as good as day one. Also, the customer service is extremely helpful; they always answered promptly to any questions I had. The good….Good quality wood and I assembled it myself, with a little help. Easy assembly. The bad..poor instructions mainly for the door installation, and control board is quirky. Customer service exists but is below par. The board functions don’t all work but they wanted me to upload a video to you tube instead of just sending a replacement. I’ll live with it because I don’t know how to do that. Conclusion…steam sauna works and looks great. I’m 90% satisfied.
