I bought this lock so I could monitor the door with my phone but you need to be standing by it to do that. Disappointed. I found you have to have another device that will communicate with it in the room. Easy to install and can use fingerprint.

    • Underhanded Business Practice

Another underhanded company. I own several apartment units. I switched to this lock company because at first I was happy with ease of installation and use. However it doesn't take this company long to show their greedy side. After Ive spent almost a $1000 putting on about 13 new door locks, I had a need for the 1st time to use the remote function, and low and behold it doesn't work. After a half hour of looking through the app I discover this shady company now charges an outrageous subscription fee of almost $300 for a minimum purchase of 50 locks. They have lower options of locks to choose from but they intentionally disabled that function so you have to choose the 50 lock option. What a deceiving underhanded business practice. Someone enjoys success through the Amazon platform then they choose greed and deceit to add to a reputation that was false to begin with. DO NOT BUY THESE LOCKS. ... show more
