3-month owner here. I'm diving straight to the point. Pros: -Install is a breeze! Comes with templates for drilling, and necessary tools (minus drill) to complete the unstall. Instructions are easy to comprehend unlike most other instructions out there. -VERY smooth locking mechanism (smoother than our old Vivint smart lock and MUCH quieter than most I've seen) - Multiple unlocking options (fingerprint, keypad, RFID Keychain, or your traditional key -Fingerprint is just as fast as unlocking my phone with my fingerprint -RFID is also very fast (I use this unlock method if for example I have really dirty hands from yard work or cleaning) -Able to sync with other SMONET Smart Locks in the house using the same wifi. -Decent App to lock, unlock, and monitor door lock activity, create admins and other passcodes/fingerprint keys for others. -Keyhole comes with a cover to protect it since it is rarely used. -Voice isnt annoying like vivint - Battery life is awesome. 3 months and and the back door, which we use the most, is still at 100% -Amazing customer service (will expand on this after cons) Cons: - The deadlock button is directly under the knob and is raised. Wish it was recessed so as to keep it from being pressed. I rarely do but when my dogs get excited and jump on the door, sometimes they'll press and hold the lock long enough to initiate the deadlock and prevent anyone but admins to unlock the door. Luckily we have the app for that. -Though the lock's voice isn't annoying, I still wish we could control the volume via app. -Wish there was an actual lock button outside rather than holding the # for 2 seconds (first world problem, I know). Still faster than locking with a key but my vivint lock had a button and I could lock up in less than a second. -Still requires a wi-fi gateway to connect to wifi (kind of an outdated thing considering most smart things can now connect directly to Wi-Fi Okay onto customer service review: We bought 2 locks (one for our front door and one for our back door). The front door lock started malfunctioning in less than 2 weeks of ownership (I understand than not every product will come out perfectly). The lock started not responding to fingerprints, passcodes, and RFIDs, only the physical lock. The issue became more and more frequent as the last 3 months progressed. Eventually the lock started draining fresh batteries in one week and stopped responding to any locking method permanently (except for the physical key). MELODY from the SMONET team helped me through troubleshooting and remained in constant communication with me. Once we figured out that the lock was truly a defective one, she wasted no time in sending me a new lock which arrived two days after she sent it. I actually just got it 30 minutes ago and I'm getting ready to install it and replace the defective front door lock. Will update this review as time progresses. Huge shout out to Melody for being awesome! I've almost always had customer service nightmares. But not with her! Thanks Melody!

I was in the market for an electronic lock and this one fit the bill. Bluetooth, fingerprint reader, keypad, and manual entry. The lock was extremely easy to install with decent instructions and basically everything you need to install. The lock has a very smooth feel when locking so seems to be built well It was easy to connect to using the app and program. The fingerprint reader is tricky, it worked great for me but couldn't get any of my family registered after several attempts. Which isa shame as by far the fingerprint unlock is by far the easiest to do. The keypad works well but does have to be "woken" up to input code or more frustrating, to luck. Only issue anyone from my family has complained about is the lock feature. If I was the builder I would change the lock feature to a simple lock icon instead of the hash key. We have had issues waking the keypad up and then holding the hash key down and nothing happening or getting the operation fail warning. But for the most part it works well also, the operation fail is a bit harsh and unforgiving. The RFID cards work well, I wish they sent now than 2. Sometimes it can take several passes before it recognizes which I assume is because it is asleep but otherwise works great (I understand this is common with battery powered devices). So again, for the most part it works really well. I have not tried the WiFi option as it requires a particular gateway. It works be nice if it worked with the Chamberlain gateway a lot of people have for their garage doors. I almost went with the Yale but this one has far more built in options for half the price.

We have been using this lock for 2 years now and so far, we have not encountered any problems. I love the different options you have to open lock, fingerprinting is by far our favorite . Very easy to use and set up. Customer service is also great. They were kind enough to send us a replacement battery cover after it was destroyed by our dog.

I ordered this brand after trying another one of lower price that didn’t work. This one is very easy to install and strong construction. It works great with the hub and it is reliable. The fingerprint recognition is amazing compared with an old one I had. I recommend this item and will buy it again.
