They don't lock! And then there is not live support. They think that they can get back to you in 2 days whenever they want--like people can sit around, guarding unlocked doors until they get back to you in 2 days! Amazon refunded, but now I have holes in my doors and no locks! A complete bust, waste of time and money and I don't get any justification for FOUR RUINED DOORS! ... show more

This lock is pretty neat. I use it for my garage door into my house. It's nice to be able to use your finger print to open coming into the house from the car. Even better that it automatically locks. We leave the garage bays open often. It's great this will always remain locked for security. I've also locked myself out of the house several times having a keyed lock and going outside and not having keys. Installation isn't too bad. It takes minimal skill. I love the app as well. I like the idea of the lock but the actual construction of the lock is questionable. Had my step dad Install it but the damn lock does not even lock the door! 😩 when I open the door from the outside the inside handle bar stays down and never goes back up. The portion that’s actually suppose to latch in between the door is faulty. Overall disappointed with this purchase. Horrible product. I had to return the initial lock I ordered because it was defective. I received another one and it worked a few days longer than the first one. There is a issue with the internal mechanism with the lock causing it to not release. Both times same issue. I'm seeing several bad reviews on this product, but this will not be one of them! It's BRAND NEW and very well made heavy duty door knob. The features work EXACTLY how you'd imagine they should. The finger print reader is fairly consistent. It registers the majority of attempts. Those of you saying it's unlocked all the time, make sure the auto lock feature is enabled in the app! The thing is beyond what I expected from seeing some of these reviews. I'm happy to report that mine is solid and works just as it should! ... show more

I wanted a door lock with a handle so I didn’t have to put another huge hole in my door for a deadbolt. I also wanted a smart lock that could notify me when someone is at my home as well as have a fingerprint reader and personalized codes. I also wanted one that would work with Alexa, although I haven’t figured out that function yet. Every product I found was so expensive and I had to purchase a separate gateway to get many of the features to work. Set up is EASY with app access. App also gives you a log of uses so you can detect anyone trying to use it that is not registered. Finger print scan and codes work great! It has an automatic lock so it gives peace of mind when going to bed at night that you don't have to second guess if you locked up for the night. I highly recommend this product. ... show more
