Before these, I always used a set of the ratchet style straps. Those finally broke again, classic, and I decided to switch to these. I was skeptical at first, but man these things are incredible! They are high quality, and when you flip the latch to lock them down, they really get tight. I use these to hold a 24ft pontoon on a trailer, and after about 10 hours of highway travel, these things are still holding up great! So much better than the ratchet style.

I ordered two of these. One for my boat and another for my jet ski. They hold it tight while still being easy to remove. Good quality strap and buckle. I will be ordering another two sets shortly for my other boat and one as a gift for my brother's first boat. You can not beat this price for the convenience and security it offers.
