The media could not be loaded. I've been running a family farm for over 10 years, and brooding chicks is always my top priority every spring. Over the years, I’ve tried at least seven or eight different brooders. There was always something—some would create hot spots, others didn’t distribute heat evenly, and a few just broke down far too often. Then I found this heater, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer for me. It’s the most efficient and reliable setup I’ve used, hands down. The 200W radiant panel heats up quickly and spreads the heat evenly. The small ventilation holes let the warmth disperse gently, and the chicks are naturally drawn to it. You can tell they love it—seeing them all snuggled up underneath, cozy and content, is just like watching them huddle under a mother hen’s wings. The smart thermostat takes all the guesswork out of temperature control and works far better than anything I’ve used in the past. And it’s not just for chicks. I’ve been using it in winter as a chicken heater for the coop to keep my laying hens warm and productive, and it’s been great for that too. Times change, but the right tool can breathe new life into an old practice. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been raising chickens for years, if you’re serious about your flock, I can confidently say this is the best piece of equipment I’ve found so far.

The media could not be loaded. I originally bought this heater to use as a winter chicken coop heater, and it has been rock solid all season. We had several brutal cold snaps this winter, and it performed consistently, keeping my flock warm and safe in the coop the entire time, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. In early January, I added a few new chicks. Even though it was still quite cold outside, based on how well this heater had already performed, I decided to purchase the same one again—this time to use it as a brooder heat plate. Setup was quick and easy, and within a few minutes I had the height and temperature adjusted just right. The chicks naturally gather underneath it to rest and sleep, and they look very comfortable and relaxed. Since using this brooder heater, they’ve been growing well, with clean, shiny feathers and lots of energy. Overall, this heater has exceeded my expectations. I really appreciate how versatile and reliable it is. Highly recommended.

This heater worked well and I did like it. However the Item worked for two weeks and then quit. I contacted support to troubleshoot which did not fix the problem. The company contacted me about the failure to try and remedy the situation which was greatly appreciated. Perhaps mine was just a random failure and I hope that’s all it was. Overall I did like the product but mine did fail after two weeks of indoor use.
