  • Moves Air! Portable Size & Great Heat Output...
The media could not be loaded. The first 3 things I noticed about this heater were its portable size, the convenient carrying handle, and the massive amount of air output from the fan! It was so noticeable that I had to break out the anemometer to compare it to my other small space heater. In my experience most small portable heaters push out a very weak air stream. Comparatively my 2-year-old space heater put out an air speed of 2mph, this JIBUFI space heater put out an air speed of 5.1mph! This makes a big difference in how far away you can feel the heat being pushed out. It disburses heat further from the unit and more evenly into the room. The tip over cut off feature also stands out from other space heaters I’ve own. This heater cuts off when tipped, but then it also stays off, so if tipped over you must turn it back on afterward. I think this is a touch of genius. A remote control is a nice touch as well for those who would keep this on the ground or in a higher hard-to-reach location. To test this out, I simply opened my back door when the temperature outside was 50F and turned this bad boy on in my kitchen. For reference it was about 20 feet from the door in an open floor plan lay out (kitchen & living area combined) of about 350SF. Despite the door being wide open and the window’s being cracked this heater managed to outpace the incoming cold air and actually heat my apartment on high – within about 15 minutes! Turning the unit off is different than other space heaters as well – there is about a 15 second delay before completing shut off. Pressing the power button will disengage the heating element but allow the fan to run for an additional 15 seconds to cool the heating element down before completely shutting off. This heater has two wattage settings – 750W & 1500W – as always with these types of heaters be cautious in older homes or homes with tricky electrical issues as the 1500W setting may trip a breaker. I did not have this issue, but I live in a newly constructed building. My expectations were far exceeded by this unit! If I come across any issues, or if the heater doesn’t stand the test of time, I’ll come back to update my review. (2/13/25) ... show more

  • Works well but has a few quirks I find a bit annoying
Overall, I do like this heater as it heats up the room quite quickly and it doesn't take up too much space. However, there are weird quirks about this that I don't really like. The first thing I noticed is that the power light is always blinking if you have it plugged in but isn't turned on. If the light just remained solid and not blinking, I think it would be less annoying. Although it is nice, especially for safety reasons, that the heater turns off when it's tipped over or if you lift it off the ground, I just wish it would resume turning on with your current settings once you turn it back upright or set it back on the ground. But instead, you have to manually turn it back on and the settings you previously had doesn't save so you have to set that up again too. It's not like a dealbreaker or anything, but it can get a bit annoying sometimes. The buttons that are on the heater are also not as responsive as I would have liked them to be. Like you have to press down on them for a bit or press multiple times for them to do anything. I definitely prefer using the remote for that reason as the remote is more responsive. The lowest wattage is also advertised falsely as it is actually 1000 watts and not 750 watts. One thing that I did like about this heater that I also found to be fairly unique is that it blows air for about 20 seconds after you turn it off to ensure that the inside cool. Kind of a neat safety feature I think and one that I would not have thought of before. So aside from the little things I find annoying, it works well as a space heater and for less than $20, it's a pretty good deal. ... show more

  • Listing Title is WRONG! The lowest wattage is 1,000 NOT 750!
I have a teeny tiny 500 watt heater ($10) that does just as well as the 1,000 watt setting on this one. So this is designed to be desk/table top but it takes up the footprint of a small tablet. If you put this on the floor, the remote doesn't work. Remote has to be about level with the front of the unit. So this is all on or off. No thermostat setting. So there is an Eco mode? H1 and H2. H1 is 1,000 watt, Eco and H2 are both 1500 watt. Actually Eco is a flip of the coin. It's their version of thermostatic control, switching between 1,000 and 1500 watts. Positives? Sleek looking, nice handle? Just thought of one more negative. The indicator lights on top are so bright that you can't read the text associated with each light. :) ... show more

  • Powerful, compact, but noisy
Since I don't use central heating in my house, small, compact heaters are essential during cold seasons. This little heater seemed perfect for heating my room. Its compact size is a big plus, as it doesn't take up much space. I also appreciate the excellent tip-over safety feature, which automatically shuts off the heater if the sensor on the bottom is triggered. The cool-down feature is another plus; when you turn off the heater, the fan continues to run for a minute to cool down the heating elements. However, the heater is quite loud. When it's on, it sounds like a small vacuum cleaner running in my room. Cycling through the modes didn't help, as the noise comes from the fan, which is always on. The heater also emits a noticeable odor, perhaps from the materials used. Additionally, it dries out the air more than my other heaters, likely due to the heating intensity. Finally, while I saw that I could adjust the heating levels with the remote (but not on the heater itself), I didn't have any AAA batteries to test it. Batteries were not included with the remote, which is another issue. Overall, this heater is just okay for me. It does produce a lot of heat quickly, but the heat is very hot and dry. The fan noise is too loud, and the dry air and odor are noticeable. Perhaps the smell will dissipate with longer use, but I don't expect the noise to lessen. Nevertheless, this is a small, affordable heater that does the job for the price. ... show more
