I have the "name brand" version of this and its been a hit around the house. The only problem is that rarely did i have enough for everyone, or I ran into situations where different styles of drinks were wanted. I needed a second machine to help increase my volume and give me some flavor options. This one fit the bill price wise and so far it has been a close match to my original and in some cases better. Much of this review is a comparison against my original model which more people are probably aware of: Feature Review/Comparison: - Very similar Preset functions - SLUSH / SPIKED SLUSH / FRAPPÉ / MILKSHAKE / JUICE are the same 5 found on my original machine. I like this and it makes it very easy to use and operate both in a consistent fashion. - This unit holds 64 ounces of liquid which is about 3 cups less than my original machine. Still a lot of liquid and sufficient for a party but doesn't go quite as far as I am used to. - Both Units have sugar level detection to help ensure the perfect slushy. I found the error codes on this one easier to read and understand what i needed to do than the flashing lights on my other one. - Both units have a self cleaning function and work similarly by cycling water through/around all of the components. This works well before disassembly and hand cleaning - Other similarities include the ability to load liquids from the top, pull down dispenser, and precise incremental temperature adjustments - One unique feature to this one i like is the "night mode" which allows you to add your liquids and prep before time. It will stir and keep things cold without freezing so when the party is ready to get started the time to slushy is cut down considerably. - I found this machine ran quietly (about the same as the other machine) and was able to create slushies a tiny bit quicker, but that could be due to the fact that it is working with less liquid. Overall this is a nice option with. similar specs and functions but more widely available and at a more affordable price/value.

First impression was 'smart' , the moment I opened the box I know I will like this brand . instead traditional box when you have to pull the product off the box this one you will just need to pull the box up and there ! the compact beautiful slushy machine ready to use that even have slushy recipe included ! literally just as easy as 123. I was worried it will be too bulky to be on our countertop but turned out its slim and contemporary looks which is big relief . the great impressions doesn't stop there , its nice and quiet sounds when I started it which is big plus over here as I work from home . its doesn't take long to make delicious frape of my own . Astralship did the job quick and quietly ! its also has self cleaning functions but I still like to take it apart to manually clean and dry it anyway. Its absolutely great additions to our kitchen bar .

Why I didn't get a slushie machine before. I can't brag enough about it. Especially during these hot summer days, this machine get overworked. On the weekends I have it run half a day. It was simple to get it going and the recipe book that came with it helped my inspiration. Not only that it has exact recipes, but also includes directions for making my own mixes, which I've been doing. One important step I found is to have the right amount of water and sugar, and with that my smoothies always come out tasting great. It hold a good amount and it is not very loud. It freezes the mixes quickly and holds it at the temperature for as long as needed. Even has a night mode for when I have leftovers, where it keeps it cold but not frozen. Cleaning is fairly easy as well, only 3 4 parts that need to be removed and rinsed. Very happy with it

I am very excited about my new snow mud machine! This is a complete change for my family bar and a refreshing addition to our summer gatherings. This machine works very charmingly, effortlessly producing perfect slush every time. I like its ease of use - just add your favorite seasonings and let the machine do the rest of the work, and cleaning is also easy, which is a huge advantage. The compact design is very convenient and takes up the smallest space in my kitchen. I have received countless compliments from friends and family, and I am delighted to try new flavors and recipes. I’ve never had a slushy machine before so I don’t know what I should expect. This machine makes great frozen lemonade and great frozen margaritas. But… the spout drips ALL THE TIME. There was nothing I could do to keep it from dripping. The drip catch pan was full by the time the frozen drinks are ready. Quite the inconvenience. I wouldn’t buy or recommend for the reason.

This slushy machine was a second one to our current one for our daughter’s birthday party - per her request it was orange creamsicle slushies and this machine had them froze to slush consistency within 45 minutes! This machine was simple to set up and is so quiet for use! I can appreciate the cost difference between this and big brand names and it works just as well. I’ll share my favorite recipe for this machine for approx 4 people! 1 cup whole milk ½ cup heavy cream 1½ cups orange juice 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 drops orange food coloring, optional ¼ cup granulated sugar Top with whipped cream and enjoy! Works just as well as comparable brands!
