I have since bought another one after trying this grab bar out. I tried a 2-pack (of a different brand) for the same price point, thinking it would be a better deal, but boy was I wrong. While this was much longer and just looked and felt higher in quality, there was no comparision in terms of suction power. The cheaper 2-pack was easily taken off the wall during a test (by a 70-year-old woman) even after they were already placed properly. This could have easily caused an injury rather than prevent it… This grab bar though, no amount of force from a strong able-bodied man was able to remove it from the wall. We’re glad that we tested the products out first before betting on a moment these bars are needed. We feel quite secured that these can save us from injury in a time of need. Recommended!

I had my doubts about suction cups on bathroom tiles but this product has been outstanding. It's a reliable grip and firmly holds in place no matter how forcefully you grip it. It also feels well manufactured. If you can't find a stud in your wall to screw in a steel grip, this is the next best thing.

After two prior attempts with other suction-type grab bars that just would not stay connected to the tile in my shower, I have found this one to work really well. After one of the two suction cups initially let go of the tile almost immediately, I reset it using really firm pressure while closing the suction latch. The bar has now been solid for two weeks with no further adjustments. I recommend it.

Got this product to help in the shower . It’s ok as long as you don’t have to pull up with all your weight . It does come off . Think the heat of the shower may contribute to this happening
