I previously had a 12" Memphis Mojo which in itself is a beast of a subwoofer, 32 lb Magnet, Dual Voice coils.. the works. I was very disappointed when it froze up on a Rockford Fosgate 500 Watt Amp. I started doing research and Skar Audio kept coming up... Now I grew up with Rockford Fosgate, JL Audio, Memphis, Orion, you name it.. and I was very hesitant about Skar.. but after seeing their website, and the list after list of high quality systems I was seeing pictures of, and record setting SPL and Decibels these subs were bringing, I knew I had to give this Skar ZVX-12v2 a chance. The Box showed up, sooner than expected which is always a good thing. Very Well packaged, a second box within a box, and some serious quality 1-inch thick cardboard and basket just to hold this beast in place during shipping. I can assure you they designed the box very well so your new subs will arrive in pristine shape! Anyway, I installed this 50 pound, Dual-2Ohm sub in parallel so it's running a 1Ohm load to my amp.. then fired it up! To say this thing Bumps.. Solid, Low and Loud is an understatement!!! I am beyond happy with this sub and it runs circles around my previous Memphis... which is to say I will definitely be a Skar fan going forward! On top of that, having a 2 year warranty is a Godsend, so I very much look forward to purchasing more products from Skar in the future! You won't regret picking up one of these subs!

I replaced a 10yr old brovex edx dual 2ohm voice coil with this skar 12" dual 2ohm voice coil. All i have to say is, WOW. It was a very sad day when my edx quit bumping. Didn't think i would be able to get the amount of bass i became to expect from my 05 tahoe. Well, here we go, i have an old school autotek mean machine 1200 rms amp pushing this sub. That's right just one woofer in a down fire dual ported custom made box. I will be hitting well past what i was getting with the edx. I haven't put it on a meter to get true db reading. I beat the stuffing out the brovex for ten yrs and never in my wildest dreams thought i could replace it and be happy. I had two concept subs, a nemesis sub, two jbl subs all tap out at the power of the autotek and what i was wanting out of them. I am in the market for a work vehicle and plan on running a full skar audio set up. I'm a true believer in their line of sub woofers. Can't wait to hear the 1/2 ohm stable amps they offer beatting the stuffing out of a couple 15" skar subs in a hatchback honda. I am not paid or affiliated with skar audio, just want to get it out there for other bass lovers. This is the by far best sounding sub i found for under 350.00 that can do what i expect from it. I will be ordering more and posting more reviews asap. Amps next please enjoy these subs i know i am, my neighbors not so much. Win some loose some......ha/ha bump on

All I can say is WOW, I have owned plenty of subs but this one by far is the best I have ever owned this is skars top of the line sub and that's for a good reason. The sound quality is very clear and clean it holds it composure at high and low volumes. I have one in skars vented rhino coated sub box and it thumps all through your body even at low volumes it sounds like elephants stumping on the ground with bedroom shoes on SOLID sound quality DÈEEEEEP BAAAAAASS hands down

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely pound these subs...they'll smell hot after about 15 minutes...but i am pushing them very hard....I'm running a taramps bass 5k @ 0.5ohms.. easily putting 2500watts RMS + to these subs..they pound so hard they actually blurr my vision.. Oh yeah..2500watts to each sub...and yes..the bass 5k IS 0.5ohm stable. I've used much more expensive "comp" subs.....not saying that the comp subs are crap.....I am saying that SKAR products give an outstanding performance for the money!! Moving forward I'm going to run 6 of these subs in my KIA SOUL.....BECAUSE I CAN!!!!!

The media could not be loaded. I’m running the skar ZVX-12 off a fosgate power 1500 amp at 1900 rms and it has been going full steam for 18 months. Until just recently I thought I blew a voice coil but it just broke itself free of the screws holding it down. I reset the sub into new screw holes and it’s good as new. Great sub! One more thing I have a shop that is right next to a car audio shop and rare are the days that another vehicle out hits my one 12” scar and 2 fosgate punch 4 x 100 with all focal mids and highs

Absolutely garbage. Blew one within minutes. Bought another cause I thought maybe it was my fault(I'm sure it wasn't). Replacement came with loose bolts mounting basket to motor. Attempted to get a replacement for that one which skar replied stating I had to send it back and wait for it to be inspected. They they would determine if they would warranty the sub. I had clear pictures of the loose torx bolt. Ended up bypassing skar and receiving a complementary replacement from Amazon.
