The Around the Block amps up its eye-catchingly curvy steel cruiser frame with comfort details like high- density foam grips on the wide handlebars, a dual-spring seat that ensures tailbone comfort on long rides, and 2. 125-inch wide aluminum wheels with large waffle tread tires (available in 24-inch and 26-inch sizes) that help smooth out the bumps. The Around The Block women's bike is available in four gearing options: 21-speed Shimano Tourney derailleur and EZ Fire Plus shifter help you tackle demanding street, trail, long distance, and uphill riding. Front and rear handbrakes make stopping easy and precise. 7-speed Shimano external hub allows for a wide range of riding — from leisure to long distance commutes. Includes front and rear handbrakes. 3-speed Shimano internal hub with easy-to-use Nexus shifter enables you to handle longer distances and moderate hills. Includes front handbrake and rear coaster brake. Single-speed model offers ultimate simplicity, and is ideal for flat terrain. The coaster braking system is simple — just pedal backwards to glide to a stop. This bike comes with a chain guard to protect pant cuffs from getting caught, plus a rear rack for use with optional panniers, baskets, and other accessories.

We purchased two bikes: a sixthreezero women's 26" single speed and a Firmstrong men's 26" single speed. Purchases were made based on availability since the bikes are rated similarly. We love both bikes: both bikes handled my 5’7” 280 lb frame and my wife’s 5”6” 140 lb physique easily. Both are very comfortable to ride and the construction seems to be about the same. Some parts are identical such as the pedals, seat post clamp, and reflectors. Both bikes were easy to assemble and both arrived in excellent condition. Here's where we found differences in the two bikes: The sixthreezero comes with a carrier rack pre-installed. We really like this additional feature. The Firmstrong’s seat is firmer than the sixthreezero. For us the sixthreezero seat is more comfortable. The sixtthreezero came with basic tools for assemble. The Firmstrong did not. Although it seems like you can’t go wrong with either of these bikes, we found that the small differences in the sixthreezero made it our favorite. ... show more

I got this bike for my wife about 16 month ago and it has been ridden a total of about 50-75 miles. The fork snapped and my wife went straight down. I know it is out of their 1 year warranty, so I sent an email to sixthreezero to purchase a replacement fork and headset, but got no response. Will just buy a Schwinn at Walmart. I was really excited to receive my new bike! Unfortunately, while assembling it, I found that there was a stripped screw on a pre-assembled piece. This made the bike unusable as the handlebars could not be properly attached and adjusted. When I contacted Sixthreezero, I was offered no support, even though it was clearly a manufacturing defect. I was saddened to see such a refusal to stand behind their product. I am grateful Amazon has such a great return policy. The bike has been returned, and I will avoid purchasing anything more from Sixthreezero. Too bad...the bike would have been great! Poor customer service turned me from an enthusiastic customer to a frustrated customer arranging a return... ... show more

This is the first time I've ever bought a bike from the internet and I couldn't be more happy!! Not only was it really easy to put together (by myself, while drinking), it's just such a wonderful bike! It's smooth, responsive, handles great, I love it. And for the price I'm honestly amazed. I love everything about it, especially the fact that the rack is part of the frame. Not only does it make it sturdy and secure, it meant I didn't have to buy and assemble a separate rack. My bike arrived yesterday. I got the plum color, which I do not regret! I'm a 29 year old, single mom, with basic handyman skills, and I set it up by myself in about 45 min (not reading directions). I purchased the basket separately, which fits just as I imagined it would. Everything fit together very easily and seems to be great quality. You can easily adjust the angle/tilt of the seat and the handlebars to make it completely comfortable. The seat is big and comfy. I ordered a matching basket liner, seat cover, & cup holder on etsy so she's not complete yet! Overall I'm glad I went with this bike because of the built in bike rack. It's built in and slender, not big and bulky-looking, drawing attention away from the rest of the bike like some of the others I see. I think it's the perfect combo between an old-fashioned beach cruiser and a new-school chopper-style cruiser. My eight year old son loves it and is happy his mom finally has a "cool" bike, so I know it's cool ;o). ... show more

I'm 5'2, 150Lbs and this bike is perfect for the size. It is super lightweight and beautiful color. I got the one speed in Coral. I never owned a bike as a child so I was scared to fall and break my head. I recently purchased the Huffy Cruiser from Walmart but it was too heavy and difficult for me since I am not experienced. I only had the huffy for 2 weeks when I decided to order this one. It arrived in perfect condition and mostly assembled. I have no handy-man skills whatsoever, so I greatly appreciated that you can contact the company VIA FaceTime, Google Hangout and have a mechanic help you put it together. I absolutely love it. I highly recommend this bike for anyone who likes to cruise down the boardwalk or go on long flat rides at the park. I'm using it to commute to work but I work less than 3 miles away. I wanted a low maintenance bike so went with the single speed and I’m very happy I did. I’ve always had bikes with more gears and was worried about going up hills but it’s no issue at all. I do have to stand sometimes to get more peddling power. This bike is very lightweight, which is necessary for me as I carry it up and down stairs daily. It’s good quality especially for the price. I zip tied a crate onto it to haul groceries and UberEATS deliveries. Overall I’m happy with my choice. And I was able to find a matching helmet 😄 ... show more
