  • Great Value, Honest experience

Sofar best entry leve E-bike for price and parts. The throttle came falling off the handle bars but I was changing the grips anyway. So bought a finger triggered replacement throttle for $12. And replaced the front and back tires for more durable ones. Bike runs amazing. For a 350 watt was not expecting to have so much range. For the price this is a Grade A bike. Looking forward to doing commutes with this bike. I got the bells and whistles for it too, will post pictures and update review when I finish setting up the upgrades.(One week ownership) Edit: It’s been about 3 1/2 weeks of ownership. I still think it’s a good e-bike for the cost. It meets my power needs, look through the manual and turn it into a 5 level PAS instead of the 3Level it comes default factory settings.(this will help conserve power) I’ll do quick trips around the neighbor hood(groceries, gym, cruzing) roughly 7-10 mile trips there and back. Usually it’ll knock down half the battery(2-3 bars/5). Im mostly using the throttle, ill PAS up hills. I’ve stress tested the battery and done 26miles in a day, roughly 70% of my trip was throttle. Didn’t break a sweat and was fun to ride. The assist makes hills effortless. You need to learn how to ride it between shifting gears and the level of PAS you use. Easy learning curb. So out of the box, my throttle was falling off handles as mentioned before, then the adjustable stem connecting the handlebars kept coming loose so I bought a new one. Doing research I’ve found that the tires that come with it will usually puncture easily so you will need new tires. My rear break was squeaking so I bought new brake pads and replaced it. It’s a solid bike for the price but be prepared to give some TLC if you wanna make this your daily commuter. In total I’ve spent a mandatory $90 on the replacement parts(new wheels, new grips, new throttle, brake pads, new stem) Not sure if the stem was a problem for others as I am an aggressive rider and love to take it through dirt and rocks. Popping on and off curbs. You will probably just need new wheels $30 otherwise it’s a problem waiting to happen if you’re using their factory wheels and you’ll soon be walking home on one of your trips. I didn’t want to send it back but I’m sure the company would have replaced the other parts if I was willing to wait and reship the bike but I was planning to do these upgrades anyway. I also have a new bike seat, nothing wrong with the one they give you. It was comfortable, I just wanted more padding for longer trips. I have a rear rack and pannier bag, added the mirrors, phone holder, cup holder, alarm system, FENDERS(you will need) buy cheap ones $5, turning signals and night lights on the wheels. I must say that you should be carful when installing upgrades because the paint will scratch off if ur not cautious. Not good to leave exposed metal to the elements. This has been my experience with the bike sofar. It works for me but forsure there are some better options such as the ancheer 500w and maybe the tot guard if it’s a 500w can’t remember but those are also available on Amazon. I will be upgrading my battery and installing a second one soon to 3x the power ($250) so I’m not to worried, eventually I’ll also get a better motor but this is my first e-bike. If you don’t plan on upgrading your bike and just want something that needs no fixes out of the factory then I’d explore other options. ... show more

Got this as a gift. It was easy to put together. Battery holds for a decent ride. Not a bad bike. I'm a bigger guy and it works quite well for me.

  • Overall an excellent electric bike!
Color: Dark Style: Standard
Let me first just say I really love this bike and in three months have put 500 miles on it. Use it to go a few miles to the train station, to the gym, and to the grocery store. It is solidly built, has great acceleration, battery life is no problem for the way I use it, braking is excellent, it can go on grass, dirt trails, sand, rough terrain, most anything, the headlight is strong and very bright, the full electric or pedal assist are great. Having said all that, there are three issues that I have found. 1) The power cuts off every once in a while when I am using full electric or pedal assist. This happens at least once every 2 to 3 days. I cycle the Pedal Assist Level while I am riding and the power will come back. This is only slightly annoying and power has always come back. 2) Went to ride the bike the other day and the front tire was completely flat, not one molecule of air left in the tire. There were no huge nails sticking out of the tire, could not find anything wrong with the outside of the tire. Have contacted Jaison customer support as the bike has a one year warranty. 3) The part of the rear tire that is in contact with the road is completely bald. I have seen this in another review. Maybe because power is applied to the rear tire....but it just seems odd that it got bald after 500 miles. And it is a mountain bike tire with big nobs all over. Will contact Jaison customer support about this too. But overall I absolutely love this bike...I will take care of my tire issues and be on the road again soon!!!!! ... show more

  • Looks nice, but Up a creek without a paddle.
Color: Blue Style: Standard
The media could not be loaded. Bought this bike march 28th when we pulled it out of the packaging (which was top notch), and looked at it, it looks sharp; it cost $150 to ship and deliver (even with prime) bike was delivered the 4th, we put it together April 8th (my son's 17th bday, this was his gift), got the bike all put together. Instructions could have been more detailed. Attempted to turn on battery and bike, and absolutely nothing, like the battery was beyond dead, recent reviews on youtube (within 4 months) have said the battery comes between 30 and 70% charged, not the case for us. So we charged the battery for over 6 hours, tried it again and absolutely nothing. Reached out to jasion customer service and they said I had to reach out to Amazon so I did, it has been over 2 days and no response yet from the seller. The manufacturer, however reached out to me within 24 hours of this issue, however it did not resolve the issue as of yet, because the bike at the moment is just a regular bike, because the battery isn't working. I'll update if and when the seller on Amazon responds, so we will see. It is extremely disappointing, because this is literally the only thing my son asked for, and it doesn't work. I am really hoping the seller will make this right. At this point I have only had the bike for 6 days. Amazon please make this right. 04/19/2024 *update* I do NOT recommend this bike. Yes it looks nice, but looks can be deceiving. First and foremost, Amazon your customer service is top notch. I appreciate everything you did to fix this, thank you from the bottom of my heart for rectifying the situation. I will always recommend Amazon for mine and others purchasing needs. Jasion customer service was mediocre, I feel like they didn't listen to what the problem was, they kept asking the same thing after I explained in detail, I might add, what was happening; jasion said they couldnt help, i even asked if jasion could just send a replacement battery, and i was told by jasion that because i ordered it on amazon, that i had to go through amazon, they didnt even offer to send a new battery or rectify the situation at all, don't get me wrong they apologized for the stress of the situation, but that's it; So no I don't recommend jasion bikes, don't waste your money. Amazon thank you. Amazon issued me a refund, even though it wasnt their fault the battery/bike was defective. Truly exceptional service and thank you for listening, this is what customer service should be you guys rock! Jasion certainly needs to do better. Jasion manufactured this bike and battery but will not stand by their product? I understand that this is supposed to be a "affordable " ebike, but it is still alot of money; and the "affordabilty" is no excuse for using poor quality components in something as important in an ebike as the battery. I have never had issues with any other manufacturer on any other product that I have purchased, the manufacturers have always stood by their products, just not jasion i guess. I would recommend going through a different manufacturer of ebikes. There are several and I'm sure others will stand by their product even if it is defective. Sorry jaison, please do better. I was hoping I could give a better review, but I can't in good conscience do that. All I can say about it is if you decide to make your own decision and purchase a bike from jasion, just consider it a roll of the dice. Hopefully you have a better experience with jasion. ... show more
