Seeing a video on this I decided to investigate one more time. Glad I did. Bought it, set it up for hunting and trapping UAPs... and on the 3rd night.... scored!!! A Huge triangle went over the house and I clearly captured it with the SiOnyx Aurora camera. I made a video and put it on YOUTUBE... and sent it into MUFON!!! It's EASY to use and VERY versatile. ... AND.. I got the weapons mount for my AR15! Buy it folks!! While it won't beat military vision, it works JUST FINE for video of night, dawn and day! ... show more

This scope is great for nightvision. Initially I got it to view night sky objects and satellites, but the got interested in terrestrial viewing. It came with an armored case and 2 batteries. Noticeably lacking were lens covers, which seemed kinda whack for a 1000 dollar scope, all my camera lenses come with these, and none were to be found at the camera store. The eyecup and lens shield were aftermarket purchases to protect the scope. All in all it can see into the woods at night while I see nothing. Takes your skywatching to the next level! Clear and compact, great for seeing deeper into the star filled sky than any regular camera or the naked eye. Takes a while to get used to the very small buttons but it has an impressive number of abilities for the price.

Initially bought 1 Pro to see how it works, and liked it so much I bought a second. Ambient light, they will give you grainy images, but with an IR light or near full moon, they work really well. Currently set up on a bump helmet as NOD's with a 900nm IR source.

I have the same problem as a previous commenter. The night vision is poor quality. Very pixelated. I know this is a low end night vision device but you can’t even make out what you are looking at. Disappointed. I am considering sending it in to see if it is broke.

Sionyx canceled my order and raised the price all in the same day after waiting a week for the delivery. They told me they were out of stock but I immediately ordered the camera while they were saying it was out of stock. They did not want to honor the price they sold it to me for. Was not impressed. The quality when it’s dark out (even with ambient light) is terrible and fuzzy. Very fuzzy and photos,videos. Lots of purple reds and blues. The videos on this device do not show a true example of the quality.
