UPDATE: After my original review below posted, the manufacturer did reach out to me and resolved my issue by sending a replacement for the defective unit. While I truly appreciate their resolution, I still think it should not be this hard to contact them, so I cannot give a five star review, but I can give four. I have tested the water produced by these machines and it is good - very low TDS (4 PPM when first started using, several months later with daily use only up to 12 PPM). One thing to be aware of is that the water will be quite acidic - mine comes in at 4.2 on the PH testing - it is normal for RO water to be around 5 (which is still acidic). ORIGINAL REVIEW: I would give 0 stars if I could because the manufacturer cannot be reached. They ignore inquiries submitted via their website. They ignore multiple emails sent to their support address. It has been weeks and I am still waiting for responses. Their support phone is a google number and they do not answer it. Think you have a warranty, think again, because you will NEVER get any help from this manufacturer. You cannot even leave feedback for them here on Amazon or send them a message through Amazon - I have tried. How does Amazon let them stay on the site???? I bought two of these units and multiple replacement filters. One of the units was not put into service until after the 30 day return window and it had loud vibrations and knocking (unlike the first one) and then it started to have problems and you have to unplug it to try to get a forced reset to get it working again. This is less than 4 months of use. The water I put into them is already filtered once through a counter top filter, so I am not damaging these with filthy water. I follow all instructions exactly. The machines are not abused in any way. Yes, I do like the quality of the water that these produce, but considering that the manufacturer cannot be contacted makes these a DO NOT BUY in my book. Who knows what kind of a fly by night operation this really is - even if the one good one I have keeps working, will there still be filters available in a year or two??? I am angry and disgusted. If the manufacturer ever does actually contact me and make this right, I'll update this review - but for now I strongly recommend that you do not buy these water filters - there is no warranty, there is no support and apparently there is no quality control since 1 of 2 that I bought has issues.     • Replacing my 5 gallon dispenser
So happy I finally got this. Really easy to use and fill container. I saw a review that mentions not using all the water in feeder? The filtration process creates waste water, it’s super simple and explained in the quick start and book. Inside is 1/2 gallon tank holding filtered water; back has 1 gallon feeder tank; every 2 cycles (1/2 gallon at a time) you dump the created waste water (about a cup it has a compartment so looks more in that photo than it actually is) and refill the 1 gallon feeder tank. Super easy to use. There is a button that empties the filtered water so you have the option of continuing flow. I did get 3 glass 1/2 gallon carafes to keep in rotation so I have water on hand to pour vs waiting for a glass/pot to fill. It creates water quickly, but I’m impatient. I just put an empty carafe under and hit the flow button, walk away, and it perfectly refills the carafe… that way I have plenty on hand for cooking, drinking, ice maker, dog, coffee maker, etc… I realized with my 5 gallon machine I was getting stingy with water (started about 2.5 gallons a day down to 1 gallon) and now that I can create it on demand I am using and drinking back at a normal level and the dog also gets filtered water. She’s 10 and had has some health issues, I don’t know it’s the city water, but if I won’t drink it, I’m glad I can now give her a better option. ... show more

Much quieter than the water pumps in something comparable, such as a Keurig. The back reservoir is filled up with tap water, and then a pump will automatically keep the internal pure water reservoir filled automatically. You simply press the button on the front to dispense however many ml of water you want. The first one is about half of a red Solo cup, 2nd is about full, and 3rd is a couple mm from the top of the cup. We have disgusting/awful tasting chlorinated river water, and what comes out of this is on par with bottled water brands. I would never have guessed this is tap water, so it indeed does its job marvelously. Thank you engineers who put your brain into such a good product, will recommend to others, and trying to get my parents on board with one of these. ... show more

when we moved to the country, the well water provided by our local water utility tasted wonderful. because of all the building, i now taste pvc. I bought this hoping to help that taste. it is big unit, heavy. it takes a lot of filtering to get it started and primed. The water tastes better than our water utility. i put in on a 18 inch lazy susan to be easier to deal with. i like the water but the taste is just okay. if you have nasty water to filter, it certainly does the job. ... show more

I like how quickly it filters and it’s not bad looking. I wouldn’t say it looks great either, it just is what it is. The dispensing is not the quickest but I’m used to my fridge which dispenses at a similar rate. My least favorite part of the design is the placement of the water tank in the bank. It’s awkward to move it away from the wall to remove the tank. I will be adding furniture pads at the bottom to help it slide on the counter easier. Overall, 8/10 satisfied ... show more

I absolutely love this water filter! I drink soo much water and was spending way too much on bottled water a month just to be drinking micro plastics in those bottles and who knows what else. I feel much better drinking water that’s been filtered through reverse osmosis and then adding back in the trace minerals in my clean water. This unit is perfect if you don’t feel like messing with installing a unit under the sink. I think it’s the perfect size and I only have to refill the water tank every other day. Look, I know people say they can’t taste a difference in water but when you live in the swamps of Louisiana, it tastes raunchy. I don’t know what kind of disinfectant they use, probably Chloramine, but it’s rough. There is ZERO smell or taste after it has been filtered. The filters are easily accessible to change, but I don’t think you can change the UV filter light. Just note that the dispensing buttons are in milliliters and not ounces. ... show more
