It' is unfortunate that something like this has to be made in China (still), especially for the cost, but such is life. The quality is OK; surprisingly, there seems to be very few other options on the market. Be prepared to need longer screws and back spacers to properly and securely fit your screen/storm door, as mine has raised exterior trim all around the opening (where the glass and screened panels sit) and the provided screws were far too short to work. The guard's frame therefore is flush to the trim, leaving a gap between the securing tabs and the flat face of the door itself. (The spacers fit between the guard securing tabs and flat face of the storm door and reduce the tendancy of the securing tabs to bend and the guard itself to bow). Also, I needed to drill a hole in the center of the bottom edge piece of the guard frame and employ another longer screw with back spacer to reduce the pronounced bowing of the bottom edge of the guard (again, due to the trim which is proud of the door surface) and help secure the entire guard to my door. ... show more
