I needed a footrest/low table for next to my bedroom chair, light enough to move easily but sturdy enough to sit on to put on my shoes and level enough to set a cup of tea...pretty hard to find in a pouf... until I found this one! My decor is light and "beachy" and this is perfect: it is very slightly off-white, but looks fine next to the white baseboards. It had a chemical smell when first unwrapped from the plastic covering, but after a night in the garage, quickly dissipated.
