It was too big and did not fit, customer service was prompt on finding a way to make it right! They are going to issue me a refund, which I appreciate very much. This carafe pours far better than the original carafe from cuisinart. It is solid and works great. However after just a few weeks the markings and numbers on the outside are coming off. We have washed the carafe in the dishwasher, but even when hand washing the numbers come off. We will keep using it, but will have to measure separately.

I broke my carafe, but was without it only two days. Perfect replacement, and very well packed and protected for shipping. Beats buying a whole new coffeemaker. Drinking my first cup as I’m writing this review!

I had been searching for a glass carafe to take the place of my stainless pot for awhile and finally found one with just the right size to fit where the old pot went. It can go in the dishwasher (yay!!!) or I can wash it out by hand without a special gadget to reach to the bottom - all pluses! Except one - and this might be a big deal for you - it doesn't keep the coffee hot for very long. I can't just make it and go about my business and return to a hot pot of coffee whenever I'm ready. This issue isn't a deal breaker for me because the pros definitely outweigh the cons - but it is good to know.

When our coffee carafe broke, I bought a cheap generic replacement thinking carafes are all the same. The cheap one was a serving nightmare, always dripping or outright spilling no matter how carefully I poured. The glass became coffee stained at the bottom that needed to be scrubbed out (when’s the last time you needed to do that with your original carafe?) and it became lightly discolored on the inside walls. I had to go back to the real thing - this one and it’s been worth it!when I bought this. I’m sorry I didn’t just buy it in the first place.

EDIT: Great customer service. I was contacted immediately and was given a full refund. This is a cheap replacement and it leaks around the rim. Sadly, it not eligible for replacement or refund. But from another seller if you need one!
