I love this trash can. I had 2 separate white plastic ones before, but this side by side is really nice looking, goes well with my stainless steel appliances and has that soft close. It fits 13 gallon trash bags just right. They are easy to put in and remove.

We love this new trash container. The only issue we have, and it’s not a big deal, it has the recycle to the smaller side. So we just switched the labels, at least until we’re used to putting the recycle in the right side. Our old can we use recycle on the left.🥴

We recently got recyling service at our house, so we needed a convenient way to handle both the trash and recycling. This is a very well made and high quality combo trash and recycling container. At first, I was concerned that it might be too small, but the size is good and it looks good in my kitchen. So far, I have not had the need to use the deodorizing compartment, but it's there if I need it. I highly recomment it and would buy it again.

Works great and is sturdy. Love the soft close lids. The bins lift out easily and use my normal trash bags. Only issue was it arrived with a small dent. Didn't want to go through the hassle of a return though as it didnt affect the functionality.

Great trash can! Makes the kitchen look SO much neater and cleaner than two separate bins. Each side is large enough not to have to be constantly emptied and are shaped for easy removal. The plastic is also durable. The trash and recycle labels are very helpful. Highly recommend.

How nerdy do we have to be to leave a five-star review of a trash can? 'Cause I'm that nerdy. I previously used a 13-gallon one-bin trash can that worked just fine. But once I started actually collecting soda cans & bottles, plastics, and other recyclables, I finally realized just how much more I *can* recycle than can't. This can is super helpful at proving that, too. It only took me one bag change to realize that the larger bin is what I should be using for recyclables, and the smaller one for trash. Super good for me and the environment. I live in a small apartment with a postage stamp kitchen (we're talkin' 2.5 feet of walking space that's maaaaaybe 7 feet long), so size was a big (or small, as the case may be) factor for me. This IS larger than my previous 13-gallon can, but only by about 3", and it's worth it to me. I've had the can for about 2 months now, and I find it sturdy and the functionality of the lids & steps reliable. It's important to remember NOT to overfill your bags, or removing them will be super hard (yup, I definitely broke the first bag whilst removing it). As long as you don't do that, you're good. The only "real" issue I've had (which was still really minor) is that one of my bags (I'm still using my leftover 13-gallon bags, and they're totally fine for both bins) leaked, so I had a nice little puddle of rotten onion juice in the bottom of one bin. Gross. The bins are far too deep for me to reach the bottom, so I just used the shower to clean it, and it worked great. Also be aware that this does NOT come with charcoal odor pads. Here's the trick to get them for cheap: just buy a big ol' sheet of activated carbon filter pad (just search on here for it, it'll come up), and cut them to just under 3" by just under 5". Voilà! You get about 2-3 years worth of filters for about $15, instead of that lasting you just one year. All in all, I really do like this trash can. And I'm not afraid to admit that I'm nerdy enough to say that.

This trash can looks nice, but it isn't very functional. It's next to impossible to get a trash bag secured into the can. As soon as you put the removable can inside the main can, the trash bag bunches up. This doesn't look very nice when the lid closes and the bag slides down into the inner can when you use it. You have to replace the bags more frequently due to the size too. When you pull the bag out, it's only half full. The recommended trash bags seem to have the same problem staying put too. I'd look elsewhere if you want a functional trash can.
