Looks great, nice size, easy to purchase bags. However, the mechanism to open lid is weak. We have broken two of them over the past few years but keep buying them because the size, appearance, and availability of bags is so good.

This is our second Simple Human trash can. I love these cans. They stay so much cleaner than a traditional can and having a second side for recycling is so convenient. They are a little pricey but worth it.

Simple human trashcans always hold up well. This is silent, easy open close, and the trash bags fit perfectly. I don’t mind the plastic lid instead of the metal lid. I think it looks just as good and is a little less expensive.

The cans are fine. I have two.. THE REPLACEMENT BAGS DON'T FIT !!!!!! The bags that arrive in the can fit perfectly -(which they brag about).. See picture - bag made for the square can. THEN, when I order EXPENSIVE replacement bags, THEY DON'T FIT -- too big and they hang all over the outside of the can. The website is silent about the obvious false picture which shows the "perfect fit bags". I consider it obvious deception -- they show a picture of a can with a bag that fits --- AND THEN THE BAG IS NOT AVAILABLE. This would be fine if the can cost $40 , but this is supposed to be a premium company - and I was deceived !!! I'm angry. Pic on the left is the "advertised" bag fit. The media could not be loaded. This is a solid trashcan if you are looking for one that will help you remember to recycle ! I thought that maybe the trashcan would be too small and fill up within one day but it’s usually good for 2-3 days depending on how much I’m cooking. I find myself looking at every thing I throw away to make sure I can’t recycle ! The size is great for us, it’s me my husband and my one year old. It comes with a thing inside that holds a scent pod and also a storage feature on the back for trash bags. The foot lever it super easy to use and it has a really nice soft close.
