With these lamps being $10 each, I was not expecting much but, these little lights are awesome. They are super cute and perfect for a book shelf, child's room or small side table. A few things to know before you buy them: 1. Yes, they are small. I knew that when I bought them though because I am an adult and I always check the specs before I buy something. 2. They do not use a typical light bulb but a candelabra bulb. But again - I read so I knew this and prepared for it. 3. My only real problem with it, is that the switch to turn the light on and off is a little stiff and my daughter has a hard time with it. I'm sure over time it'll be fine. This is a good buy as long as you know what you're buying. As someone who buys literally everything online, I get a kick out of the reviews. I just love these little lamps, and they sell in pairs which is perfect!! Small enough for a shelf or bed table but gives off impressive light!! I put mine on a shelf and it lights up a very dark corner of the room where I always have trouble hanging my artwork and having it show well. UPDATE 2018: I still love these lamps. I own six of them now. I've added a built-in TV cabinet, computer desk, and bookcase to my house, and I've purchased these lamps for all of them. The lamps are adorable, and I've never had an issue with the quality or shipping. They are still tiny, but they are the perfect tiny for small spaces. These are lamps are small, but that's what I was looking for. I wanted a couple lamps for some built-in bookshelves, and these were the perfect size.
