This ice machine is the best purchase I've made in like a year. And that's wild, because I buy a lot. It's quiet, it makes A TON of ice (more than I can keep up with in a day, for sure, and I'm a chronic ice eater due to pika). I have had this for a few months now, and I have zero complaints. I keep this at my work office with a staff of seven and we are all able to use it several times throughout the day (even with my chronic ice eating) and it produces plenty of ice with minimal refills. I'd say we have to refill the water tank twice a day at most. My only gripe is that before it even falls below half-empty, it requires a refill. It would seem like there is plenty of water to continue making ice, however, the machine puts its little light on for a refill request. Otherwise, this is literally perfect! ... show more

I am guessing that most ice makers are basically the same, they make ice and this one does that and does it really fast. I love the size of the ice cubes and I like to just watch it do its thing and drop eight cubes right in the basket. I have found that I need to make ice about every two days and that is not a problem, it is portable and I have out, make ice and store it close by with ease. The only issue I have is that when I empty the ice into my freezer the cubes want to freeze to guys that are already there. I understand the issue and so I use a tool to break them apart and I think they may even come apart when dispensed. Also I have to say I really like the ice for fast cooling my drinks and for chomping down with out harming my teeth. Very satisfied with this purchase. ... show more

Great personal ice maker, purchased this for a pole barn “cabin” where we only have a mini fridge with a freezer compartment the size of an egg carton, just not as long. Pros: Makes ice fairly quickly. The controls are easy to read and the low water indicator is great so you don’t have to keep checking. Compact, easy to store, nice design. Ice basket comes out, making the scooper just an added item that most probably wouldn’t use, but nice to have in times you would. I have only used the large size ice maker, I would use small if I intended to crush the ice or make a blended beverage. There is a drain plug on the bottom, no need to tip the entire bucket over. Cons: It take up to two cycles for the ice to make the correct size (large). The handle is flimsy and would not depend on using it to carry the machine anywhere. Suggestions: Use filtered or bottle water, not tap. Start making ice about 30 minutes before intending to use, keep the machine going. Use an insult aged ice bucket to keep ice, or place in a freezer or cooler. * The ice maker does not keep the ice, if you want that you will need to pay a much higher price point. Let the maker cycle through at least 2 times to get the expected size cube. When finished making ice, drain well and dry the inside of the ice/water well, to prevent mold/mildew. Keep in mind this is a portable ice maker, not an industrial ice maker. It does the job very well at a decent price point. I would highly recommend. ... show more

After following directions and letting it sit for 24 hours, we filled the unit with water. Too soon to really comment on how good it is, but so far it is working as expected. One fill of the reservoir and it produced 13 batches of ice, 2 small and 11 large. We threw out the first four as directed. You can hear it running, but it is by no means loud. Ice is now in the freezer, with some sticking together, which isn’t unexpected. For the price, it feels very worth it, but time will tell. ... show more

Ordered several weeks ago and has been used every day this summer. So Far, so good and a life saver in a home without an ice making fridge. So nice not to have to remember to fill the ice trays of have ice cube tasting like meat or soup. I will update in a few months to see how it holds up. I got tired of buying ice at the store and bought this. It makes ice reasonably fast but I’m a little disappointed in how quickly the full ice light comes on. I can easily fix it by leveling the ice in the basket. Non the less, it’s the reason I didn’t give it five stars.

Everything about the ice machine is great except that it doesn't keep the ice cold but I knew that when I bought the product, the biggest problem I had was getting ahold of my ice machine. It's not their fault ups doesn't like to do their jobs but overall the size differences are small in the ice, I love the cube shape and it works exceptionally fast. ... show more
