It works. A bit loud, mainly when the ICE falls, but should blend in with other kitchen appliance sounds. There's an issue with the basket though, it seems to be stuck at the low level and have to work it to get the spring to retract. Wrote support, still waiting to hear back. Other than that, family loves it. Makes more than enough ICE and at just the right size.

I love the larger basket!
My last counter ice-maker recently quit after 3 or 4 years. I couldn’t find another one like it on Amazon. I found this one and was skeptical because it was half the price of my previous one. I will tell you, this ice-maker is amazing! It makes twice as many ice cubes with the larger basket and I have a choice of sizes. I couldn’t be happier!

Excellent ice maker
This bad boy makes ice fast! It’s a great addition to our apartment where the freezer has no space and no ice maker. Makes a whole gallon bag in 20 minutes. Love it. We have it running most of the day hours.

Great Ice Machine!
I usually don't do reviews but having gone through several low cost ice makers in recent years, this one is different! It makes more ice -- a lot more -- than the ones I've had. The design is sleek and simple. I love it so far and have not run out of ice! Now I have jinxed myself...

Really great but
This makes ice so quick holds soooo much Ice however if you dig down into the basket while it's in the machine you get water as well since you're dipping into the water reserve as well other than that I love it
