The media could not be loaded. The return window closed and the clock stopped working properly. As you can see in the video, to get the alarm to turn on at a certain time you have to set the alarm arm about 30min before. For a 12 o’clock alarm I need to set it to 11:30. It’s advertised as having different sounds but it randomly chooses a sound. You cannot pick a preferred sound. There is no way to reach the seller so I can’t get a refund now. ... show more

    • Great-looking clock & quiet
The clock has an attractive design, makes no sound, and I especially appreciate the "snooze/light" button on the top. It allows me to illuminate when I'm awake at night and wondering what time it is. It also serves as a very short-lived night light. The only criticism is the representation that there are 6 music choices. The alarm on/off switch doesn't have six positions. Perhaps, the clock needs to be manufactured with a higher quality on/off switch in order to select the six choices. The only selection I've been able to access is a very loud, very odd, brief singing voice that ends in the kind of laughter you'd expect in a horror film. I do not recommend this alarm clock if you're using the alarm on a regular basis. I'm retired so the alarm feature is rarely used. The instructions are not in English. And, the product information on the Amazon webpage indicates carbon batteries are to be used; so, there is some inconvenience purchasing carbon-zinc batteries just for the clock. The Panasonic carbon-zinc super heavy duty batteries I purchased did not have an expiration date on the packaging. The packaging states the expiration date is on the battery, but it is not. In my case, with these undated batteries, I had to change the batteries after six months. I have now ordered batteries from a different source to see if they last longer. ... show more

This is an attractive clock. I chose it for how it looks but also because I was replacing a cloth that ticked loudly, which I didn't realize when I bought it. I like the size if the face on this one, although setting it for a precise time is challenging. However, my major criticism is the alarm tones. If you love electronic music that reminds you of Super Mario Brothers, this is the clock for you. Otherwise, you probably won't want to use the alarm. Which is too bad.
