Be wary of 5 star reviews as the company offers money back off your order if you place a 5 star review and then send them proof of it. That being said I like the chair, it is supportive and comfortable. My only complaints are that as a tall person (6'4") the head rest needs to be just a little bit higher. Additionally when in a reclined position, sometimes the chair will pop out of the lock position and flop back. Doesn't do it all the time so I 'm not sure if I just didn't have the lock engaged all the way of what, but I will be keeping an eye on in. After researching tireless hours on the web for a desk chair that offers the features for lower back support, comfortable sitting, high & adjustable arm-resting, head support...The web is so saturated with so many chairs and companies offering you the starts & moon with chairs that do not meets what they promise. Also found desk chairs with these features with a high price tag - were very expensive & over price. I wanted a comfortable desk chair that would support my lower back and long sitting hours. I took a risk with this chair and did not disappointed. I think the cost of this chair is relative for what it's offering. I didn't wanted to post this review not until I have experiencing the chair for a couple of weeks. If you want a desk chair that will not break your bank, I think this would be a good choice!     • Manufacturer doesn't return emails or messages...so here is my plea to the universe for help!

I have been trying for over a week now to reach the manufacturer of this supposedly awesome -- but actually defective (gas lift) -- office chair. Since they're in China, I couldn't call them. So I am now turning to the only one who CAN help me. Here goes: "Dear God in heaven hear my prayer!!! I don't know what else I can do to find relief from the company which manufactured this chair (Sihoo). I spent $280 on this; I deserve a working chair. I emailed them, FB messaged them and Amazon messaged them. So far, nothing. Nada. Zip. So here I sit, in sack cloth and ashes, begging you to release me from this plague of defective chair sitting sessions that afflicts me so terribly. Oh Lord, I'm so tired...So tired!! Make them send me a replacement chair, as they have done for others. The people at Sihoo keep promoting their defective chair and I detest it, Lord. I loathe it. Please Lord... Please just make it stop. Make the bad men at Sihoo respond to my plea for a replacement product. Lord, I can't call them. They're in China. And I don't speak Chinese. I don't write Chinese. Please God, I beg of you. Intervene like you did with the Pharaoh who looked like Yul Brenner and catch his attention. Put an end to all this neglect. For the love of all that is holy, make it stop now, Lord. I tried to reach them. You know I did, Lord, but they continue to completely ignore my repeated pleas for help. They say to the world that they'll send out a replacement product. But it's a lie!!!! Lord, the bad men at Sihoo... They lied!!! You know I'm not making this up. You know my heart, Lord!!     • Stopped Using, Went Back to my 10+ Year Old Chair

I have worked from home for 5 or 6 six years and was looking to upgrade my office chair. I had been looking for over a year, reading and researching and finally decided to purchase this one. After three weeks of using this, I'm now using my old office chair (which is EXTREMELY uncomfortable) but feels like heaven compared to this new chair. This chair did nothing to help with my back or sciatica pain, no matter how I adjusted it. And I needed the lower back support to be all the way forward and once I got that set, it was broken - it can no longer be adjusted. Every single thing about this chair is uncomfortable and definitely not ergonomic. Now I'll probably spend another year (maybe two?) trying to find a somewhat decent office chair - that doesn't cost the same as my mortgage payment. This might work for occasional computer work, but when you sit at your desk 11-18 hours/day, this chair is not going to cut it. I gave it three full weeks before I wheeled it into my empty guestroom and shut the door so I wouldn't have to look at it one second longer. HIGHLY disappointing purchase. ... show more

    • Great chair for a short person!

This is a super comfy chair for a short person. I'm only 5'3" and the seat can get low enough to the floor to be comfortable for me and the angle of the back, height of the arm rests, and length/angle of the foot rest are all easy to adjust to be just right. My favorite thing about the chair are that I can completely stretch my legs out using the foot rest, or I can also sit cross legged in the wide seat and not even hit the arms at all. I also like the bouncy mesh back- very comfy. One thing buyers should know though is that the back and foot rest don't flip out automatically when you lean back like they would in a lazy boy recliner. (For some reason that's what I thought they would do.) However, this chair is very comfy and it was really easy to assemble - just a few parts that need to be screwed in with that L shaped tool.
