Overall these are good quality, solid build, comfortable. They came shipped in boxes, assembly was fairly easy. The cushion color is slightly brown/cream tone. I wanted a lighter color but these probably hide dirt better. The fabric is great quality, soft to touch, a linen style that should be durable. The sofa came with 4 coordinated pillows. All the pillows and chair cushions are zippered, so washing is possible. At first the seat cushions seemed a bit hard, but I noticed after a week or so they actually softened up a little. I prefer a softer memory foam seat, but these are not too bad. I’d rate the comfort about a 7 on a scale from 1-10. The wood construction is very good. Good craftsmanship, solid, nice wood texture, and a nice color stain. A slight white wash, and all the bolts to assemble are heavy duty. Our porch is protected from the weather, I’d recommend these for a covered porch. If they got wet, it would be advised to keep waterproof patio furniture covers on them. I previously bought the matching sofa and ordered this chair and the loveseat a year later to go with it because I loved the sofa so much. This line of furniture is HIGH quality. It's incredibly sturdy, solid, and heavy. There's nothing cheap about the construction of the frame or the cushions. The cushions are very firm and thick. These chairs are amazing. Beautiful in appearance and very well made. Very,very easy to assemble! The cushion on the bottom is firm, the back cushion is comfortable but we will be using a lumbar style pillow for optimal comfort. Ordered two single chairs and they arrived with broken arm rests. So glad I ordered from Ashley’s via Amazon because Amazon customer service is amazing! They had UPS pick up both boxes the next day and two replacements arrived a day later. Assembly is very easy - 10 screws and you’re done. The boxes are pretty big so we didn’t bother trying to bring them inside but assembled outside for convenience. I truly hope the two broken arm rests were a rarity and don’t speak to the overall quality of these chairs. The wood color is perfect for what I was looking for - lighter grey brown (similar to the color of Amazon boxes). I love the pillow color too - sort of a taupe color, not white (see picture with a white tissue to compare). I’m not sure if the pillows would dry quickly if left out in the rain. We’ll be using these in a screened in porch so direct rain exposure shouldn’t really be an issue. ... show more

This will go outside under a protected front porch when it warms up. Three easy steps to assemble. Didn’t wait to purchase because right now Amazon has it for 200.00 less than Big Lots!
