I bought two of these chairs to go with the matching sofa and loveseat to be delivered soon. The chairs arrived two days early. I am an older female, a desk jockey 😄 and bit of a weakling, but I was able to bring the boxes in my house by myself. My hubby of 30 years was not at home when they arrived. The boxes were in great shape, sturdy, with no damage. The chairs were packed well. Assembly was simple and easy. The manufacturer conveniently assembled the screws, washers, and lock nuts in advance and bundled them by size. I was able to assemble the chairs by myself. All I had to do is align the parts, place the assembled hardware in the designated holes and hand tighten. Once all parts are assembled, you just tighten everything up with the provided allen wrench. I love the cushion fabric. The chairs have very upscale, Pottery Barn-like look. I haven’t placed them outside yet, the weather is not cooperating. Don’t let my attached picture fool you on the size of these chairs. My bookcase cabinetry is oversized to scale better with our fireplace and vaulted two story room and makes the chair look small. These chairs are bigger and appear heftier than the aluminum furniture I am replacing. My husband was impressed with their quality. ... show more

This is a beautiful, heavy, comfortable, sturdy set! I purchased 1 sofa and 2 chairs. It is bulky, so make sure you have the room. The fabric and cushions are very well made, and spills, etc. seem to come out quickly and fully. A couple of things to note: The bottom cushions cannot be turned over. The underside is very flat, while the top is curved (convex), therefore you can’t flip them. But this is probably what adds to the comfort when sitting on them.. they don’t sink the way a flat cushion would. Also, with the fabric being a weave (not smooth), any small debris from the outdoors stays on the fabric until you clean it off. Smoother fabrics seem to stay pretty free of debris as the slighted breeze will make everything fly off. These however need daily cleaning for each cushion, as small particles like to stick to the fabric weave. This would not deter me from buying this set however, as the fabric (and the wood) will last far longer than other sets, and it really is a beautiful piece of furniture. Well worth the price, which I thought was very reasonable. Can’t go wrong with this set- I highly recommend! ... show more

I bought three of these, and the quality on the chairs is great however one of them came with an arm assembly that was not sturdy because the dowel that was holding it together was broken. It was easier for me to just repair it myself than bother to repackage it and return it.
