Description

- Neoprene cover - Adjustment tools - Battery - Manual promises repeatable accuracy and ultra-fast target acquisition for recreational, professional and competition shooting environments. The premium wide-angle lens system with scratch resistant/anti-reflective red coating, 4 illuminated red reticle options, parallax correction (beyond 10 yards) and unlimited eye relief deliver a crisp, robust field of view and uncompromising reliability. Built tough, the Ultra Shot A-Spec Reflex Sight is shock proof, IP55 weather-resistant, recoil rated up to .50 BMG and constructed of a rugged, lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum hood and protective shield. 1 MOA windage and elevation adjustments, up to 120 MOA of travel, get you on target quickly while the Interlock internal locking adjustment system and a single CR123A battery keeps you there with a battery life of 200 – 2,000 hours. The Ultra Shot A-Spec Reflex Sight also features a low battery indicator, digital switch controls, 1-hour auto shut-off, and quick-detach picatinny mount. Powered by a single CR123A battery, the A-Spec re.flex sight has the ability to run up to 2,000 hours The new quick detach mount for the R-Spec and A-Spec is designed with a low profile. Now the handle sits nearly flush with the main housing. The low profile design eliminates snags on vests or other equipment. With this design, the handle remains set in the open position due to the flat cut near the handle’s axis of rotation. This small improvement keeps the handle stable and not loose potentially marking the finish. Finally, the handle is made of steel noted by it’s different finish. Steel is more durable and less prone to breaking. The interlok adjustment system is a internal retention system that ensure windage and elevation adjustments remain zeroed during recoil. Competitor reflex sights typically require the adjustment system be unlocked using a screw or set of lock screws. These designs can be damaged or break if the customer forgets to loosen the locking screw. The interlok adjustment system removes the need of a locking screw so shooters can make adjustments on the fly. - 2 Hour low battery indication – each press of a button the reticle will blink four times. - 10 Minute low battery indication – the reticle will continuously blink until a new battery is installed. Features: - Dims reticle for use with night vision devices Benefits - Allows optic to be used at night effectively as NV riflescope. - Diminishes revealing signature in dark environments. Choose between four reticle options to allow for a custom and personalized shooting experience.

Got this for my shorty. Wanted to test a budget sight for a range toy. Didn’t want to go all out for a Eotech on a non primary. Looks good and at a decent price. Feels sturdy. It I guess time will tell. If I had the funds to I’d torcher test it to see how she really holds up.

I was looking for a sight for one of my Ruger 10/22 plinkers and this upgraded Ultra Shot A-Spec caught my eye. Between it's cleaner, sharper lines than earlier Ultra Shot models, good luck with two basic Ultra Shot models on other plinker rifles, and Amazon's price that temporarily beat competitors's price by 15-20 percent, I decided to give it a try. It has only one range trip under its belt but here are my observations. Pros: -Glass is very clean and clear, and the sight provides a wide field of view. -The larger CR123 battery should last longer than the previous button batteries, and battery cap is tethered. -The QD mount, while not of the locking variety, sits very tight on the rail and flush with the sight and weapon. I adjusted it gradually until it snugged down perfectly. Substantial, concerted effort is needed to release the QD lever. -Elevation/windage corrections screws are recessed slightly into the sight body to prevent inadvertent change. They are also firm and provide audible, tactile clicks. -Using the crosshair/dot reticle (my preferred reticle with these models), the sight zeroed well at 50 yards while at the range, keeping rounds within 1.5" from a bench. Corrections seemed to track with the advertised 1 MOA. -The reticle brightness adjustment button is not mushy, and provides audible and tactile clicks. -The 10 daylight brightness settings adjust incrementally, as they should, from very bright to barely visible, and will cover any lighting condition. On my sight the two lowest setting are the equivalent of NV settings, IMO. The lowest one is DEFINITELY night vision level. These two setting provide barely visible, "ghost" reticles, very beneficial for very low light conditions like those I experience during winters here in AK. -It remained powered up thru 2.5 hours at 10 degrees here in AK. I've had better sights die at equivalent temps. -Lastly, it's a sharp looking sight. Cons: -Even though I don't need/desire the six NV setting for this plinker rifle, I must admit they DO NOT WORK. AT ALL. Despite trying in a completely blacked out room, where I should be able to see at least 2-3 higher settings, I'm unable to identify anything. In the highly unlikely event that I ever need NV, I've got the two lowest daylight settings as mentioned above! -Round POI shifts wildly, up to 4 inches horizontally, when changing reticles. But, thankfully, it returned to the initial spot on zero when I switched back to the crosshair/dot reticle I'd initially zeroed on. Whew! LOL -Personally, I'm not a fan of the white logos but this is not a show stopper. -And if it matters, it's slightly larger than original Ultra Shot sights, in line with M-Spec models. I included a pic for visual comparison purposes. I think I'll keep this one. Not a bad sight for my purposes, and I like its design and looks. ... show more

    • Great optic, keeps zero pretty good
Color: Black
Review Image by Rick Rick
I got this for my S&W FPC and found the price to be very decent compared to other optics of bigger brands. I have gone to the indoor range about 5 times now (500 rounds of ammo) and it keeps zero very well. Since it is indoor i have only shot 15, 20 and 25 yds, but it is very accurate and i love being able to choose the reticle i want and adjust the brightness. Very impressed with this optic, would definitely recommend it. Great sight picture when you have both eyes open to acquire quick target aim. Very happy with this purchase. ... show more

This one was ordered as a gift. I have used one of these for a few years on a 9mm PCC and it has held up very well. It is easy to take on and off as well as getting a good zero. After getting the zero the first time getting a zero after taking it off and putting it back on is eas/

    • Great sight, works well for my astigmatism.
Color: Black
Very happy with this red dot sight the build quality feels sturdy and it locks on tight to the rail with no wiggle. The glass is clear and there are plenty of different brightness settings so you can adjust it to your needs. The sight also offers a fairly large viewing window which makes it easy to see and aquire targets. The biggest things for me personally though was that this sight helped tremendously with my astigmatism, it's not 100% perfect for my eye but if I had to guess about 90-95% perfect. ... show more

    • WON’T HOLD ZERO
Color: Dark Earth
Don’t buy this just because it’s cheap… I’ve had this sight for over a year but rarely used it. Bought it because it matched a shotgun I had and kept it mostly in the case. Not a scratch on it and never dropped (which shouldn’t matter in a quality optic, nevertheless…) most use it got was a 100+/- rounds of 12-gauge birdshot at the range. I went to repurpose it for another rifle and when zeroing in I decided to change reticles and noticed the reticle doesn’t lock in place, rather has a “window” it settles in, never locking in solid. You can hear and feel the clearly defined “clicks” between reticles but can still manipulate the reticle position from side to side which would result in missing a target horizontally by possibly a LOT! Not for accurate shooting beyond 25 yards. Worked great for skeet shooting with a big spread, but don’t count on this optic in a life or death situation. I noticed another 1-star review due to this issue but wanted to reiterate the problem since it could be a deadly miscalculation for anyone in a self-defense situation. Hope the manufacturer remedies this issue since everything else on the optic seemed great and had an affordable price point. ... show more
