Our Cuisinart coffee maker took a dump after 4+ years. Their newer model was too bulky. After shopping & reading reviews of different makes & also based on price, we chose this. We have only owned it for a few days...so far do good. It's attractive & does not take up a lot of space. It comes with 3 pods...2 for ground coffee or tea & one for retail pods. It does make more noise than our previous one, but the coffee is hotter. You do have to turn on the machine before you choose the size you prefer. Good price, good coffee...hope it lasts

This is the best little coffee maker I could have purchased. I've been making pour over coffee exclusively for several years and finally decided to get a coffee maker to save time on those "running late" mornings. I now use this almost every single morning. I have almost no counter space and my kitchen cabinets are pretty low (old house). This item brews a perfect cup of coffee, takes up very little space and is not as tall as other coffee makers I have previously owned. Excellent product!

This is an amendment to what's below. After using this maker for a while I realized I was using TOO MUCH ground coffee in the use your own adapter. It works by having the water sprayed over the grounds, I was filling it to the top forcing the sprayer into the middle of the grounds. This resulted in the middle of the grounds being all that got wet the outer grounds were barely damp. Now fewer grounds=strong cup. This is a love hate relationship. It is attractive, but white so every drop of coffee is visible. It brews a cup in little more than a minute, but the coffee is not very hot, if you put cream from a frig in your cup it is barely warm. The K-cups work well, but even with dark espresso it doesn't make a strong enough brew for me. There is a use your own coffee adapter, but is only holds a small amount of coffee (no help). There is a tea adapter with works well and makes a nice cup of tea (again not really hot)and would be great for brew your own coffee, but the screen holes are large and let ground flow into the coffee. In summary, it looks good, appears to be well made, is fast, hold a good amount of water, is compact and relatively quite. A few tweaks and this would be perfect for me (I think there are paper filters that may allow use of the tea adapter for make coffee without grounds😊

I bought this as a thank you gift to a friend and when she opened it, I was envious. The coffee maker was compact with everything anyone could want as a feature. I was so taken by this coffee maker that I bought one for myself and threw out my Keurig. This coffee masker has the ability to use K-ups, regular ground coffee and even makes tea from tea leaves. Its slim design and chrome finish makes it look like it costs much more money than I paid for it. It is easy to chose the ounces per cup and the water well holds enough water for several cups. Easy to clean and easier to use!

We love Keurig, but their coffee makers have become too technical for their own good. We purchased the DUO about 2 years ago, this was our 4th or 5th Keurig coffee maker. But our new home circuit breaker kept triggering. After spending $1200 to rewire the kitchen, the circuits still tripped. Keurig replaced the DUO with another one, and we took the bad DUO to our older home in Florida, where it has never tripped the circuit breaker. No fancy new circuit breakers! The newer home has fancier subsets of circuit breakers, ARC, etc. and I fault the newer circuit breakers to some degree. There are reports online of the Keurigs triggering circuit breakers. My amateur analysis is when the preliminary heater shifts to the higher heating mode, the circuit breaker trips. Not all the time, more often in colder weather. When Fall weather arrived a few weeks ago, the circuit breakers tripped every day. That's when we found this non Keurig SIFENE coffee maker. Lower foot print, heats coffee faster, and does not trip the circuit breaker. Love it!

The machine makes a nice cup of tea rather quickly but it produces more water than my Keurig per cup (12 ounces for the large cup.) The User Manual talks about descaling the machine but the 3 in 1 Coffee Maker User Manual that came with the unit doesn't say how. It warns against making coffee with no water in the unit, but there is no warning light telling you to add water. In my case, I found out after it had made a third of a cup of coffee, then started making weird noises, accompanied by all the lights flashing like a computerized Christmas tree. I tried downloading the PDF manual on the Amazon page, but it turned out to be for a coffee grinder. There is no descaling light on this model either. Since Amazon links reviews for different products from the same manufacturer, this review is for the Sifene Single Serve Coffee maker 3 in 1 Quick Brew. I'll use it until it breaks down, but I'm not throwing away my Keurig.
