I love the rental house I chose, but I will miss the grab bars in my home bathroom. These seem really easy to use and they were tested by my physical therapist ( I’m 60 and in stroke recovery). The one thing I learned is that these temporary bars will not adhere to painted drywall. However, they will securely stick to tile, marble, even the painted molding of a doorway. They do help alot when you get out of the bathtub, especially if you have difficulty getting out. The only drawback is that every few weeks, it will fall off the wall of your tub or shower. I'm so impressed with these handles. As an elderly person getting in and out of the fiberglass tub is difficult I was even considering a new walk in shower. We put these on the shower wall one for getting in and the second on the inside wall of the shower and it has made so much difference. I'm much more confident now getting in and out. I was a bit disappointed when the grab bars arrived as they appear to be cheaply made. However they do work fine. I purchased them for traveling and keep one in my suitcase at all times so I know I will have one when staying in a hotel. If you leave them up overnight, they might fall down into the tub and startle you awake, so perhaps it is wisest to take them down after each use and put up again.
