My husband garbage picked a shop vac almost identical to this one. He didn't realize that he needed a filter in it and soon the barrings went out. He really didn't need to garbage pick something to start with and I was a little upset. However we had a severe and very difficult situation where it come in handy till it broke. He called a couple store by our house and they wanted him to drive out miles to get it. I got on Amazon and got exactly what he wanted ( the other store didn't even have what he really wanted ) and had it soon later. I thank you, Amazon and to the customers, this is a strong little tool, she can pick up fast and furious and especially with FILTER In it. Laughing. He has been having a lot of fun with this new toy, boys will be boys all their lives. I told him tonight no using it this weekend we have other stuff to do, he looked like a hurt little 5 yr old.     • It's not a complete vacuum system
I have had at least 2 full sized stainless shop vac's in the past. Good quality and lasted until I sold them when we moved. This little vacuum lacks some of the fit and finish IMO. My biggest gripe is that it does not come with the essential brush attachment. Without the brush attachment the set is not complete. Shop Vac makes you buy this item separately. Their brush attachments on line are about $10 for a two brush set. Why couldn't Shop Vac include this item?? In addition, the on board storage for the accessories are terrible or non existent. I love this little but mighty shop vac. I have used this everyday for cleaning. This is literally my go to vacuum. I’m obsessed. The only issue with it is the plastic hose. It’s not on the good quality side. Mine already has a dent/fold. I wish they made strong and not so flimsy. Besides that, I love, love this little vacuum. ... show more

It simply works really well. It's light weight and small. My old one was a beast and took up a ton of space in the garage. This one tucks away nicely. Great assortment of attachments. The attachment caddy is a little clunky, but if you are careful you can stow all attachments and extensions.
