Going back and forth between different listings before I made a choice, I accidentally purchased this one before reading the reviews. When I read the reviews AFTER, I was extremely nervous. Well, the box just came and I AM HAPPY! I am very pleased with my variety and and the apparent health of each plant! For those who were concerned with the size, the listing clearly lists a 2”x2”x2” product dimension size (which several of mine are definitely larger than that!). Of course there is displaced soil so I will have to gently do some cleaning up, BUT these were packaged wonderfully, and there is literally NO POSSIBLE WAY to prevent ANY soil disruption during handling of the mail facilities. All plants are still in tact in their pots. The price is on point, as it is exactly what I pay per plant at my local Walmart. I am thrilled that THIS box has several different kinds that my local store does NOT have (I live in Missouri). I will definitely be ordering from this seller again. ***UPDATE: It’s been about a month since my review; I actually placed a second order with this business, so I wanted to include a picture of the plants from THIS shipment! (I just now finished repotting all of them.) I am happier this time than I was last time! The soil was everywhere (again, there’s not a way to avoid that), but I took the time to carefully clean each succulent, and it was totally worth the time! They are beautiful! And, again, I love the variety! I got many this time that I didn’t receive last time. ***There were a couple plants that were etiolated (“leggy”), but I’m propagating those, so no worries! I will definitely use this business for future purchases. Since my first purchase, I have ordered from a few other places (just to shop around), and my experience with ordering these has by far been the best one! (By the way, I live in the Midwest where it has been freezing! The shipment arrived very quickly, well packaged, and the plants are still healthy and wonderful a week later.) ... show more

I am so happy with this purchase. Even if all the plants showed up dead, the quality of the packaging and shipping alone would make it worthy of a 5 star review. It came in a large box with lots of tape designating it as fragile, with 5 smaller boxes in it, each containing 4 succulents and copious amounts of stuffing keeping them safe and secure on their journey from southern California to DC. In the large box there was also a little warmer thing that was still toasty when I opened the large box. I was pretty worried about the plants freezing as we have had lows of 10 degrees this week, but ultimately decided it would be okay. Now, after seeing how well they were shipped, I would have complete faith in these plants to make it through much worse weather and be fine. The plants themselves are superb as well, there is a good variety and they all seem healthy. They are mostly all very different, but there are 3 pots with the same plant in different sizes. I personally do not mind because I really enjoy this type of plant. I was a little disappointed to not receive any cacti, but it never advertised them as anything but succulents so I do no hold this against the seller. After viewing pictures other customers posted, I definitely feel like I got some boring plants compared to other, however they are all very healthy looking so I am okay with this. My only real grievance against the company and plants is that they did not come with any labels for the plants. I got this set of plants last year as a Christmas gift too, however due to my poor plant growing skills, only 3 have survived to date. I have included pictures of them, and any baby plants grown from them, to show their growth even with terrible, atrocious care. Overall, I think this is a great way to start a plant collection, or expand one with some uncommon varieties of succulents, and some common ones. For the price it would be nearly impossible to find a better quality purchase if you are looking for succulents. ... show more

After reading several reviews I ordered these as the least expensive multipack of succulents, shipped within 3 days, with a realistic expectation of healthy plants with some flaws throughout. Other shippers took less care and Etsy/etc. were pricey and take longer, so consider that when shopping around. If you’re willing to be patient, there are better plant packs to acquire. That said, I am incredibly impatient and had a great desire to fill my coffee table (under glass) with succulents. It came with an LED strip that was easily replaced with grow lights, and already wired for hidden cabling which led me to this idea. Naturally, I needed succulents IMMINENTLY. Which leads me to this box. When you consider that any plant shop sells 2” plant pots of succulents for a minimum $3-5 each, you’re already getting a steal with this box as 20 succulents come out to roughly $1.50/ea at the time I am writing this. This was efficient as I have two 14” square areas to fill, as well as a money saver. I believe I only have two of the same species of plant, which excites me to see how they all fill in once planted together. On the flip side, my plants arrived needing water and a few were soft on the outer leaves, which can be good for immediate repotting but was a little too far gone for my taste. There were also 2-3 with broken leaves, which I believe could have been prevented if they were placed closer to the middle and not against the edges of the cardboard (see bottom left). I have one more package due from Amazon and then I will be repotting and giving these babies a thorough water, then they will sit beneath a times grow light and be left to their own devices and we’ll see what thrives. As indicated by 4/5 stars, I think this is a great “get what you get” box for those who are either wanting to style or create a big succulent garden, fast, or someone looking to get into the plant hobby and having many options for trial and error.
