Anthurium arrived torn up with the red leaf/petal parts bent and scarred all over, and now a week later it is almost 100% brown all over. I also bought a Boston Fern from Costa Farms and it arrived with shriveled fronds and disgusting root rot-- it's making my whole house smell like low tide. But you can't return through Amazon and Costa Farms customer service is impossible to get ahold of. You call them, they tell you to use the website. If you use the website, your inquiry form submits and you get a blank page with no confirmation email. If you call them, they transfer you, then you get lost in a broken phone tree. I think Costa Farms business model is making you give up and throw the plant away and just eat the $ you paid for it. Meanwhile, I got a silver pothos from another Amazon store called Plants for Pets and it arrived in beautiful condition. So I know it is possible for an Amazon store that actually cares to deliver a plant alive. Costa Farms just doesn't care. ... show more

First container was shattered and plant was damaged. Could not contact seller. Amazon replaced without issue. Ordered another one for a second person. Plant and container intact. Container is small and repotting will be required. No instructions on care were included. Certainly nothing about how to repot. Enjoy giving these plants as gifts as they are easy to care for, but will look for a different seller despite the heart shape container being adorable and ceramic. Months later: placed another order. I very rarely write reviews but I really wanted to write one about my beautiful plant. It looks absolutely beautiful and looks just like the picture. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because I felt so sad that it came so smashed in the box. Several leaves got broken, I don't think that was the fault of Costa farms rather the the fault of the shipping company.
