While assembling I recognized the quality in both the frame and the cushions. I was pleased that the cushions were a bit more thick and not as soft as some that I have experienced. They hold up when you sit on them - you dont feel like you are bottoming out. The fabric on the cushions seems like it will hold up and repel water very well when it gets rained on. As for the assembly, I have put many of these together so it was easy for me to figure out, but I will say the instructions for someone less experienced may have a more challenging time. We have really been enjoying this set. Received in two boxes. Very easy to assemble. Just separate each item and then put together. All screws fit perfect no problem with anything being misaligned. Ours in a screened in porch and should last for years. No direct sunlight on them. We have been flipping and turning the cushions just to make sure but so far all is good. ... show more

First of all, So Much Plastic! Everthing was wrapped individually. On the bright side, nothing was damaged. One problem was that the pieces weren't lettered to match the directions. Nothing is written, just pictures. The biggest issue was the screws and screw holes. My husband had to bring home a tap from his job to re-tap the screw holes. He also had to buy about $20 worth of screws because the ones provided stripped very easily. He said he would never buy non-assembled furniture again. The chairs seem comfortable enough, but not sure how sturdy they will be. Will update after the summer! ... show more

We love them, they are a great value for the price and we have our coffee on the lanai each morning on them. This photo doesn't show the ottoman but we like those too. The top cushion can slouch a lot but I'm sure a piece of velcro would do the trick to keep it in place.
