I purchased this for my pup who loves to chase/play with motorized toys. I specifically got this as it looked sturdy, had four wheels and I hoped that it could drive on my thick shag rug, and (mostly) was very inexpensive. It absolutely met all three conditions. VERY easy to drive, the buttons are thankfully intuitive and I imagine a child would find them easy to use. It goes over the rug like a champ and is surprisingly fast on flat surfaces. My only slight complaint is that it sucks up batteries, so I'm getting rechargeable to alleviate this. Even though it drinks batteries, I still feel it deserves five stars as it met all of my requirements and is so inexpensive.

I bought 2 for my grandsons birthday. He turned 3 yrs old. The second was for his brother who recently turned 4. They could both work the controls and showing them one time. I originally bought this remote control car for my 4-year old grandson. He enjoys it so much, that I ordered a 2nd one for my 5-year old grandson. It is very easy for their smaller hands to use. They were over together and played with these inside and outside for hours.
