  • Put it on the short list.
Size: 170/60ZR17
Great tire, at a great price. Not found any problems as yet, only gotten about 500 miles on it, so early days, but is holding up well. Looked around for a while before choosing this tire, Bike is a BMW GS1200 and ride 99.9% Freeway and side roads, not ventured onto the dirt yet, but will change to spoke wheels for that, currently running on cast wheels. No issues with any road noise, tire runs true and quiet. Riding 2 up makes no difference, not felt any 'soft' moments. Temperature has been in the 100's and tire still performed fine. Not used in the rain yet but don't expect any issues. If you're looking for quality tire at a great price, then this is one to definitely put on the list. Just to add, delivery was super quick, arrived nearly a week before the 'due date'. ... show more

  • Good all around tire
Size: 170/60ZR17
My Buell Cyclone eats rear tires pretty quickly. These last longer than most. Not the best handling tire, but everything is a compromise. I got much better handling with a different brand tire that was nearly twice as expensive and was fried after about 6 months. I can get two years out of these, and I ride almost every day. Definitely a good commuting tire. ... show more

  • Mounted on 2002 R1150R bags about 50lbs of gear plus my 175lbs, mixed hwy and twisty, commuting.
Size: 170/60ZR17
So far over 8500 miles and just beginning to get into the wear indicators certainly less grippy in the center than at lower miles, pretty normal characteristics even for "name brand" tires these things are based on molds from a "name brand" companies tires and cost half the price and wear slowly i live in the tx hill country and do a lot of twisty fast paced corning, this tire is not enough for a fast track day, but more that sticky enough for safe street riding. so ask yourself, why spend $200 on an item that won't last quite as long but performs equally? i have used kendas, shinkos, dunlop, metzler, michelin, pirelli, continental, and they are all nice tires that perform good on the street and in the dirt. i am sold on this tire, and will likely not try their dual compound because i am more than pleased with the longevity of the RAVEN UPDATE 1/28/2019: 12,2XX miles and still going. if I didn't carry so much stuff in my bags this tire on this bike would go 15K miles. i am impressed, time for a new one now. this one has served it's purpose ... show more

  • The jury's still out on the range
Size: 170/60ZR17
So far this tire has been very good. It handles well (haven't ridden much in the rain). I have confidence in every corner. With about 2000 miles on the tire the center bar is already starting to flatten out. The ST1300 isn't exactly easy on tires, but if I get less that 8 grand, the savings might not be worth the cost of the tire changes. ... show more
