🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

Based on these reviews, Dunlop motorcycle tires seem to be a generally well-received and reliable product for "normal" use. Customers report that these tires handle well, have good grip, and are excellent value for money. However, a single customer reported receiving a defective tire that didn't hold air due to pinholes.

Pros

  • 🏍 These tires handle well and have a good grip.
  • 🏎 Based on multiple reviews, they hold up well over time, with most users getting at least 6,400 miles out of them.
  • 💰 Customers appreciate that these tires are great value for the price.

Cons

  • ❌ One user reported receiving a defective tire that didn't hold any air due to pinholes.
  • ❄️ These tires might become slippery/slick on cold days, especially if the temperature drops below 40 degrees F.

Should I Buy It?

Based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews and the high mileage reported by numerous customers, these tires are likely a good investment for most users. Potential buyers should take note of the colder weather handling, especially if they frequently ride in such conditions. Overall, these are good, reliable tires at a fair price, making them worth consideration for purchase.

  • Dunlopes are alright.
I like Dunlop they handle good. They're great for the price. Have this tire on a shadow right now.

  • Original equipment for my 1100 v star.
Haven't had them long enough for the other categories. Look nice and rides smooth with almost no noise. As long as they hold up I will bye another set when it comes time.

  • Updated review: 3 years, 6400 miles, worn out, replacing, with same model
I'll update when they wear out. Went on easily, seated easily, holding well, great traction for me-a normal speed limit rider. Yes, they handle higher mph, but haven't sustained more than 70mph on them so... Update: Been almost 3 years, only 6400miles. Threads just broke through, and grooves thin enough to replace. Were grippy enough for speed limit riding, 200-to-300 mile treks. Handled well enough in rain. HOWEVER, this tires were really slippery/slick on cold days. If it was below 40F forget it, could just slide across the turns! ... show more

  • Great price and reliable brand.
This is my 4th time buying this tire and have yet to have any disappointments. I feel my bike rolls better with less resistance of a worn out tire. I wear out these tires till I almost see the chicken scratches. So it's very safe and easy on the pocket. I use it on my VStar 650 Silverado.

  • Quick Service,Best Price
Couldn't find a better price anywhere. There is not much more to add since this is the only tire that is recommended for my bike. With 73,000 miles on the clock I am not real impressed with a tire that goes less than 13,000 miles. On the other hand I have never had a flat or any other tire trouble even with a lot of highway miles in 90+ degrees. ... show more
