  • Arrived Early
Appreciated the fast shipping and quality of the tire

  • Absolutely excellent tire
So I've been running this tire along with the Commander II front tire on my Yamaha Road Star 1600 for a few months now.. the bike had some old Dunlop D404s when I got it, and they made the bike feel really sketchy and slippery in the corners and on dirt/gravel.. I have to say these Michelin tires really gave the bike a totally different feel. Way more stable and nimble in all conditions.. be it dry roads, bumpy roads, wet roads, twisty mountain passes, interstates, dirt/gravel roads, you name it, these tires excel across the board in all situations you could think of.. I've put over 5000 miles on my set already, including a 1800 mile round trip to Yellowstone/Grand Teton and back and the tires still look brand new! No noticeable tread wear whatsoever which is pretty remarkable.. I don't really have any experience with other tires besides the D404s but I would say these are probably the best choice for motorcycle tires on the market. They're more expensive than a lot of other tires but I personally think they're worth every penny. ... show more

  • No balance mark on tire.
The tire I received did not have a clearly marked balance mark to show where the lightest side of the tire is to put by the air valve. This made the installation a bit more of trial and error than normal. Seems good quality but only have 100 miles on it.

Put this tire on my Honda Rebel 500. Rides nice corners smooth. Feels better than the stock tire. In spring I will get one for the front.

  • Best motorcycle tire yet.
I was very excited to find out that, there was an actual bias-ply tire. Specifically made for motorcycles. I remember a time when, the only way you could use a bias-ply tire on your harley. Was to put a VW BUG tire on it. This tire performs well, all the way around. Dry, wet, loose gravel and even on roads with sand on them. This tire does not ever give you the idea, that it will wash out. A confidence inspiring tire, for sure. It has lasted longer on the rear of my motorcycle. Than, any other tire before it. I The first one I had on the rear. Lasted close to 11,000 miles. I liked it so much. I replaced it with a second and also, replaced my then, worn out front with a MICHELIN COMMANDER II, as well. I would highly recommend anyone who rides seriously or that rides hard on a Big Twin Harley. Running this tire. You will not be disappointed with it. ... show more
