  • Road 6 have great grip!
Size: 190/55ZR-17 (75W)
I just went through a Michelin Road 6 and got a little over 8,000 miles. I thought I would get more, but I have to say these are great tires, a lot of grip. I decided to go with the GT’s hoping to get a few more miles, same grip. Very happy with the Road 6.

  • Best Motorcycle Tires for Bigger Bikes (Kawasaki Concours)
Size: 120/70ZR-17 (58W)
I have been using the Michelin Motorcycle Tires for 8 years now. They keep coming up with newer versions that are always better. I purchased the Front and Rear tires. Michelin Road 6 GT Rear Tire, black, 190/50ZR17 (73W), and Michelin Road 6 GT Front Tire, black, 120/70ZR17 (58W) for my 2013 Kawasaki Concours. I have been consistently getting just over 11,000 miles on the GT tires. When I change out my tires they are not bald or quite to the wear bars, so I would guess that there is another 2000 miles there. I just prefer fresh tires and never will ride on wore out tires. I have been in some horrible rain, hail, and even snow. These tires grip very well. In the dry on the twisty's, I have scrapped my pegs many times (accidently which scares the crap out of me) and NEVER have lost traction. In the heavy rains the traction is excellent also, and there is no heavy spray on my riding buddies. I have swapped over to a few other tire manufactures and have always been disapainted when compairing them to the Michelin Tires. • Wow, a sport touring tire that does both
Size: 120/70ZR-17 (58W)
I put a set of these on for the ‘24 season. I believe I last tired a sport touring tire in the late 2000s and was not too impressed due to both wet and cold grip compared to the pilots of the early 2000s until this the ‘24 season. This is an amazing tire. Grip in all conditions from hot dry to heavy rain and even a dusting of snow more than once. I’m not a track guy but I have never sniffed these tires grip level as far as I can tell. At just over 8000 miles they are beginning to flat spot in the center but I suspect I’ll get another 3000 out of them. I’d say these tires cover both the sport and the touring. I should add my Multistrada is not a light bike (and neither am I if I’m being honest). Way more miles than I expected if this proves true. ... show more

  • Great tires at a Great Price!
Size: 120/70ZR-17 (58W)
These MIchelin Road 6 GT tires arrived early and were priced lower than other retailers. I have had these tires previously and they are great all around: high mileage, great grip in the dry and wet. They cost more than other tires but the longevity offsets their cost. Remember the GT's are designed for heavier sport-touring bikes, like my BMW R1250RT. If you have a lighter bike, go for the base Michelin Road 6. ... show more

  • Best tire on the market
Size: 180/55ZR-17 (73W)
Received on time. The Road 6 GT is one of the best I've had on my 19 Versys 1000. Third one.

  • Amazing-worth every penny
Size: 120/70ZR-17 (58W)
I replaced a well worn (GP team TT veteran test tires) Dunlop D211 GP-A tires. The picture shows why lol. I loved those sticky GP-A's but I had to ride 30 miles normally to get them to stick where I suddenly felt like I was riding on a drag strip's sticky launch pad. Absolutely wonderful and confidence inspiring. The Road 6 GT's are even better and they stick after a mile just as good as the Dunlops, if not better. Controllability went up, braking confidence improved and high speeds were more stable and less vibration. I bought two, the 120/70-ZR 17 is the one I'm speaking of here. I'll CC this over to the front tire as well as it deserves the same praise. Summary: After you get home from your first ride on these the extra money simply won't matter. ... show more

  • Best All-Around Street Bike Tire -- Period!
Size: 120/70ZR-17 (58W)
I previously had a Road GT4 on my front, which I got over 12,000 miles before changing to the Road GT6. I got over 19,000 on my previous Road GT4 rear. Traction is excellent, wet or dry. Expensive? Yes, but you'll buy 2 or 3 other tires before you need to replace 1 of these. There are many good reasons why MotoGP bikes run on Michelin tires. ... show more
