  • Great
Best tire for the money

  • The design & construction is superb with greater tread depth & a stiffer profile
UPON ARRIVAL I inspected the tire and because it is a Heavy Duty tire (with a high load rating of 730lbs versus the standard rating of only 670lbs) it has a noticeably DEEPER TREAD and it is also STIFFER than a normal tire. ALL of these things will result in longer wear (because the tire is carrying a lighter load than it was designed for. Better handling (because it is stiffer and will flex less) and less rolling friction (increasing gas mileage and acceleration) because it is stiffer and will deform less as its rolling. I am VERY happy with the tire. NOW after it is mounted and I am using it? I will come back and write a new review on actual performance, mileage and wear! so stay tuned... ... show more

  • Really nice thick h.d tire.
Nice heavy thick wall tire. I mount my own tires by hand and this installation was a difficult one. I have a Michelin Commander 3 on the rear and this Shinko 777 is very similar in looks and feel. Hopefully this tire lasts longer than the Pirelli Rt66...2 years and sidewall rot was severe. But this seller had a good price and had very fast delivery for prime members. ... show more

  • Great tire at a great price.
I installed this on a 2012 Vulcan 1700. The tire looks nice and came fast. These replaced the Bridgestones my bike came with. After installation, I almost thought the tire had something wrong with it because it was shaking but after a few miles it started handling great. This was due to the mold line and mold release on the tires. The front tire will also turn much easier, so when you install them and go to backup, except it to turn faster. I almost dropped my bike the first time I backed it up after changing the tires. This isn't unique to these tires, so if you feel wobbly at first, don't fret. Stop and go a few times to get the tires heated up and once you do that, the tires will be fine. The Bridgestones previously on this bike lasted about 5k miles. I can't imagine these won't last that long or longer and they ride better than I ever remember the Bridgestones feeling. I was a little leery buying these tires but Shinko has a loyal customer now. The performance for the price can't be beat. They feel very stable yet nimble. I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again. ... show more

  • Good tires
A fantastic replacement for my 2004 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic. It grips the road impeccably. My only thing for those who aren’t bike savvy like me doing tire changes for the first time on their bike, just because the tire says “tubeless” doesn’t mean your bike doesn’t have a tube. I found that out the hard way. Otherwise, replacing the tire was easy, it’s durable and seems like it’ll last me a while. ... show more
